23.01.2022 Massive season everyone! First off, massive congratulations to the second grade team on their minor premiership title. They are straight into the grand final fixture on March 28th and we can expect a huge crowd to cheer them home for a second consecutive Pennington cup premiership! Another big congratulations must go to the fellas in the Kelly cup team. With such a close season, the last few games have all been crucial and after a wash out on Saturday in the prelim final, ...the boys find themselves now in a do-or-die prelim final against cyms white, for a place in the grand final! Play will commence this Saturday 21st at 1pm down at lady cutler 1, Let’s all throw our support behind these teams during finals time and bring home a couple of major trophies to cap off a successful season! #2inarow

The club understands it is a family time the night before christmas, but would love to see some faces down supporting our local sponsor and helping raise funds for our great club.... 15.01.2022 To all players, this is the final week for playing fees to be paid at the discounted price of $250. Any player that doesn’t pay there fees by the 1st December will be required to pay per game basis at $20/per game.

15.01.2022 PRESEASON TRAINING!! The new season is fast approaching. DRCC has been given approval to start preseason training. ... Training will commence on Sunday the 13th September 4pm, at the newly renovated Bob Dowling Nets. Perfect opportunity for all players to get down and start preparing for the season ahead. Please follow all covid protocols set in place at training, and the club will be taking a roll of all players at training for covid security purposes. See you all down there... NB: The club also has the nets booked on Tuesdays and Thursday from 15th September from 4-6 for further training should anyone be interested.

14.01.2022 Due to the long weekend there will be no training on Sunday October 4. Season starts the weekend after so now is the time to get down to Tuesday training sessions. Can everyone make sure they register online before the start of the season to receive a discount on their fees for the year.

13.01.2022 This Saturday is the 10th anniversary of the Danny Bower Cup fixture. All players and supporters are invited to get down to Lady Cutler ovals for a fierce day of cricket. A tent will be set up with nibbles, food, wine and beer provided. ... Games starting at 1pm. Everyone is encouraged to make it back to the South Dubbo Tavern for the presentation of speeches, man of the match in all 3 grades and the winner of the Danny Bower Cup. Beers and meals off tavern bistro menu to be paid for by the individual.

12.01.2022 A reminder that our preaseason officially kicks off this Sunday 4pm, at Bob Dowling Nets. This preseason will be like no other in that there are a few extra rules to abide by, particularly given that there has been this thing going around. A couple of ground rules: - Please register your attendance as you arrive... - Please maintain physical distancing at all times - Where possible, please use your own ball for bowling (however club balls can be provided and will be regularly sanitised) - There will be no access to showers or change rooms - Make use of the cleaning facilities available (more to come on this also) - Please avoid congregating in groups, including before and after the session - DO NOT attend if you have recently been in close contact with someone with COVID, visited a COVID hotspot or have been to Victoria in the past 14 days. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the first session.

07.01.2022 This weekend marks the last round of the regular season for 1st and 2nd Grade, and 1st round of finals for 3rd Grade. The club would like to take this opportunity to invite all players, friends and families back to the South Dubbo Tavern for a ‘no excuses night’. That’s means no excuse not to come and celebrate what has been a terrific season all round, led strongly by our minor premiership 2nd grade team. ... Get around the club at this time of the year and throw our support to those playing finals.

Dubbo Rugby Cricket Club would like to congratulate Jacob Hill and Zac Murphy on both being named captains of 1st and 2nd Grade respectively, for the upcoming 2020/21 season. The club is taking expressions of interest in the 3rd grade captaincy. Dale Watmore is stepping down as captain and this has left the door wide open for a player to step up and take on that role. ...
