23.01.2022 5pm weather check - GAME ON! Clouds are approaching but lack of radar data just west of us means there could be a break there? If there is lightning close by we'll have to call games off. It will be a nice still 18 degrees otherwise.

COVID precautions: Please remember - that if you are sick with COVID symptoms to chill at home. ... - When you arrive there is a QR code to check in - one check-in for each family will be OK. - Please also wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser provided. - Further precautions will be advised during the player briefing each night. 15.01.2022 Western NSW Ultimate Inc was created to work across regional NSW to help Clubs and rep teams form up (Wanderers, Gypsies, Nomads). The organisation currently runs the Bathurst Stampede, amongst the biggest mixed tournaments in NSW. If you're interested, come along to the AGM on Wednesday night to find out more!

15.01.2022 Dubbo Youth Ultimate is on again! We're looking for players aged 12-15 for an eight-week season of fun, skills and frisbee. Only $20 rego, which gets you a free competition-grade disc courtesy of Western NSW Ultimate. Please share far and wide! We're hoping to get 20 participants this year.... Sessions are 5pm-5:45pm Mondays from school week 2 onwards.

14.01.2022 End of wintertime disc! While we didn't get to run our usual wintertime comp this year, we can still celebrate! For those interested, there will be a crew headed to the South Dubbo Tavern for informal dinner after the match tonight (match: 6pm-7pm). We'll look to run a new players' intro session at 6pm for anybody keen. All welcome.

This group organises regional NSW rep teams, the Bathurst Stampede and is looking for ways to make grassroots ultimate pop. Got ideas and energy? Here's a chance to use them for Ultimate good! Committee members meet 3-4 times a year online.

09.01.2022 To keep tabs on playing conditions, I tend to peruse a variety of weather predictions. Today is an odd one. - 'Sven' (the yr.no global model) says 26 degrees, 5km/hr wind at 6pm. - 'Da BOM' Australian Bureau of Met. says 32 degrees, 30km/hr wind at 6pm. ... Who will win? At least neither are the previously predicted ~39 degrees, I guess? (hope sven is right!)

09.01.2022 Good conditions for a 6pm pickup match tonight for those working into our Spring mixed competition launch on 14 Sept (or even those who aren't!). Remember to bring along a light+dark shirt, the lighter and darker the better, for teaming people up on the night.

05.01.2022 The conditions tested the players and league director tonight, but the lightning won out in the end. Two weeks off for school holidays now, there will be social games each Monday night 6pm for those interested. Back in daylight savings!

05.01.2022 Dubbo Ultimate 2020 Disc design: callout for graphic designers Our 2019 disc stocks are running low, designed from a meerkat photo from Karen James We'll be placing an order for a 2020 set of Club discs shortly. We'd welcome ideas for a disc design so we don't have to suffer another design from the Club President. The selected designer gets a free copy of their disc and the self-satisfaction of creating something loved by all. Get your ideas in to this Facebook page or to Tim ASAP!

04.01.2022 Winter disc is on! Head down for a Pickup match starting at 6pm. Like the poster says: bring ta light (preferably white/yellow) and a dark (preferably black/navy) option for forming teams on the night. We'll be trialling a new sign-in app tonight to see if it makes the paperwork easier on Club volunteers. Paper sign-on will still be in play for those needing it.

Teams, groups or individuals all welcome. 60-minute matches start on Monday 14 September and continue each Monday until Christmas (excluding school holidays)....
