25.01.2022 2020 V2 959 Annual Service and Checkover, rearset fitment redo/sort gear non selection issue (shift rod nut contacting swingarm on bump direction wheel travel/couple of bits loose/chain tension too tight binding box shaft), coolant dilute to 33% with bleed when running, rear brake fluid flushed/extensively bled/ free play and lever height set as rear brake had been severely hot/locked on at some stage (pads were white), test ride - shifts bang on What a cool thing these are

25.01.2022 The things we find, Streetfighter 848 with customer complaint of engine stalling. Cam timing. Cam timing corrected, throttle sync and TPS reset. Worn throttle linkage made this one tricky - a job for next time its in for service

23.01.2022 848 2007 Selector mechanism linkage rotate to correct gear lever travel further than normal when selecting gears/adjust gear lever height to original position, supply/fit Pirelli slicks, front sprocket gearing change to create enough rear tyre to swingarm clearance with tyre growth on circuit, the usual cable ties on axle nut clips to symbolise next time its in that left side nut has been tensioned to increased/updated tension

20.01.2022 1999 996sps Foggy full restoration to running condition after sitting 6-7yrs, replace fuel pump/filter/lines/pressure regulator/level sender/clean green dried fuel from every inch inside, replace water pump seal, replace all fluids/filters and cam belts, replace tyres, fit swingarm chain sliders where disintegrated/missing, replace fork oil, new battery and replacement 10mm positive leads/additional earth lead as it wouldnt crank fast enough to start with brand new battery installed

11.01.2022 Hi All, Bit of a personal post if I may... Owning and operating your own business can be a bit of a juggling act at times, as many of you can understand. I’ve been tested more than usual recently, being back to a one man show at short notice as of June 1st. I’ve been putting in some seriously long days through this period, which unfortunately hasn’t been enough to keep up with the demand. I’d like to help everyone, but as of late I’ve not been able to. I also appreciate that ...I may have been hard to get hold of at times, and for that I apologise. Please know, I am not ignoring anyone, but I have simply had to focus my time and energy on keeping up with the physical workload. As a result of the above, I have often been receiving calls on my personal number, text messages and messaged through my personal Facebook, often outside business hours and even early on a Sunday morning. I understand that you are frustrated and just wanting to get in touch for work you need and ultimately this all supports me and my business. But right now, given the current situation, I would ask respectfully if everyone refrains from using my personal number and personal Facebook for any Ducati related inquiries. If you have my personal number, please don’t pass it on without my permission. I am desperately trying to keep some kind of work/life balance and need your help with this. The good news is that I am back to having a great helper in the shop, so can be more regular at returning your phone messages from the workshop within the same week at least. So if you need anything Ducati related, please leave a message on our phone if you don’t get through. I promise I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can. PS: the phone is actually on silent, so the three and four call triers don’t break our rhythm when we’re covered in oils etc, so we are unable to answer anyway. 11.01.2022 Two 848s with charge issues, number one had stator short to ground with low AC voltage output across its three phases - replaced. The other overcharged after loose earth terminal damaging low beam globe plug, melting stator plug, bypassed regulator to battery wires to even out charge rate measured at battery versus displayed on dash This one had fork seals replaced also

11.01.2022 242,000km ST3 2007 service and tune. I had the pleasure of uncrating this bike new, pre-delivering/fitting Termi pipes and CO% tune, it was our demonstrator and weve done every service throughout its life. Thanks Erin Riley for the seat re-trimming, Mark is so happy with the result. Its had a couple of sets of throttle bodies with TPS issues replaced with my rose joint linkage fix fitted across them all replacing the plastic type clip linkages, this thing starts and runs as well as it did all those years ago when was new. A huge credit to Ducatis proven maintenance schedule followed.
