The Sixers are once again shaping as the team to beat after finishing top of the table with a win in the final match of the regular season. Perth held top spot heading into Tuesday but were upset by the Heat at Adelaide Oval, leaving the door wide open to the Sixers, who played the Stars later in the day. Earlier Brandsma defeated Cody Packer in Semi Final 1 and Knott defeated Chris Carruthers in Semi Final 2. Packer & Carruthers finished equal third. 18.01.2022 Big Day for Dudley Park Ladies today as our evergreen "Legend" Roma Dunn took out the Murray League Champion of Champions Singles title today with a tough win over Halls Head's Lyn Plater 21 shots to 15. Our Club Pairs Champions Vicki Spragg and Jenni Rogalski claimed the League Pairs title with an emphatic 20 shots to 2 win in their final this afternoon. Their efforts and the win by Gemma Adamini in the Novice Singles earlier in the year was enough to Claim the Ladies Club of the year award. "Go the Park" !

07.01.2022 COVID19 UPDATE We have be extremely lucky in Western Australia to enjoy the privileges granted to us due to our strict COVID19 management. However with interstate boarders reopening, it is important as a club to ensure we do not become complacent despite Western Australia's successes - especially as some of our members and staff are particularly vulnerable to the virus.... Here's some points to remember: The Dudley Park Bowling Club has a COVID Safety Plan as required by the West Australian Government. Our maximum capacity is 400 under the COVID Safety Plan. The 2M square rule remains in place. We encourage members to maintain social distance in all areas of the club, including bar, TAB, hall, bowling rinks, ect. We encourage all members to sanitise their hands as often as necessary. Hand sanitiser can be found throughout the venue. We encourage cashless transactions where possible however Cash can continue to be used as usual. Download the COVIDSafe app to be notified in the event of a close contact or potential outbreak. New members, John and Matt Trewhella combined with John Solly to win the Mal Doney 4s at Mandurah. Jim Gregson, Russell Simons and Dean Higgon won the open triples at Waroona, our resident groundsman legend Jimss first carnival success.... Gem Adamini, Tracy Nye, Kelly Brown and Cheryl Tyrrell placed second at the recent Byford Classic. Peter and Lorraine Jones and Irene Grout were in the money in Carnarvon whilst the rest of us froze !! (great to see them proudly wearing our Everest shirts) Mark Simpson, Tim Hyatt and Russell Tyrrell qualified for the regional finals of the BPL Cup.

Credit to the hosts for embracing the concept of playing under lights at home and presenting an excellent green and great facilities. Dudley Park number 1 took the honors with a 6 points to 2 win, 97 shots to 69 on the back of a massive win by Will Hyatt, Tim Hyatt, Marc Soffe and Warren McDonald 38 shots to 5, and Mark Simpson, John Solly, Russell Tyrre...ll and David Appleton with a solid 27 shot to 22 win. WA, we have been able to secure the very last spot in the Everest of Bowls tournament at Dudley Park Bowling Club! We have also been able to secure the first 3 reserve positions if any current entrants withdraw. Everest Prizes: 1st - $12,000, 2nd - $5,000, 3rd & 4th - $2,500. The match committee have decided to hold a FREE ANY GENDER (1 hour knockout) qualifier, open to all club bowling members to be held @ 7pm Friday 25th September.
