21.01.2022 With recent colder conditions and plenty of maturing paddock feed, Duff Pastoral are out and about delivering FPA Liquid Supplements across their area. Tony v...entured south this week to catch up with Robert and some of his customers as well as get reacquainted with the cold weather of Tenterfield and Hereford and Angus cattle . Whilst the pastures and cattle may vary to Central Queensland, the importance and benefits of liquid supplementation remain the same down there. For FPA to supply the Liquid Pasture Supplements to Duff Pastoral, it wouldn’t be possible without the logistical distribution partnership with Powers Transport whom deliver weekly to the Duff Pastoral Depots. The Alltech One conference held annually in Lexington, Kentucky, is one of the world’s largest annual livestock industry gatherings, typically attracting 3500 attendees from more than 70 countries. This year the week-long event which involves dozens of expert speakers has shifted entirely online, which has seen more than 21,500 people from 126 countries register. Day one presenters who spoke overnight Australian-time included former NASA astronaut and US Air Force colonel Cady Coleman, who shared her recent experience spending 180 days working on the International Space Station to emphasise the importance of teamwork and staying focused in challenging circumstances, a timely message as the world grapples with a global pandemic. 19.01.2022 Jomanda Brahmans would like thank all our supporters at this years Bizzy and Jomanda Sale. 12/12 bulls sold, topping at $15,000 for LOT 12, sold to Diddine Brahman Stud. Jomanda bulls averaged $6375. 6/6 heifers sold to a top of $6,500 for LOT 44 and averaged $5083.

11.01.2022 Scientists understand cattle not climate villains, but media still missing message For a long time emissions from cattle have been lumped in with emissions fr...om other sources as the same destructive forces for the planet in the global climate change narrative. However, through research overseen by scientists including Dr Frank Mitloehner (right) from the University of California Davis and Dr Myles Allen from Oxford University, scientific consensus is starting to build around the point that livestock-related greenhouse gases are distinctively different from greenhouse gases associated with other sectors of society. 05.01.2022 The western areas (west of Gundy) are still very dry with no or very little rain for the year. Despite this these cattle are holding up very well . They have had access to Feedpro, molasses based liquid feed, supplied by Duff Pastoral throughout the year and for many years previously. The cattle are in good strong condition , the cows are milking well and cycling. The calves are very well grown and in great condition.

02.01.2022 It’s hard to believe the transformation at Westmar in about 6 weeks from early December to late January. The photos speak for themselves. It was hard to get pictures of the cattle as they were all off standing under trees, chewing their cud’s !! Amazing what some moisture can do and amazing how quickly this country can respond. !
