25.01.2022 In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Australia, a National Trail initiative made up of 10 of the most popular Adventurous Journey walks around Australia was launched. Unfortunately due to the devastating 2019 bush fires in the area, the installation of the commemorative plaque for the Border Track at Binna Burra, Lamington National Park in Queensland was postponed - but we are very excited to announce that it is now in plac...e and the track has re-opened! The plaque is situated at the entrance to the main trail head in the upper Day Use Area. We would love it if Award Leaders who use the Border Track for their AJs could email a photo to [email protected] of participants and volunteers next to the plaque so we can share this with the Award community! #TheDukeofEd #WORLDREADY
