23.01.2022 Many children were excited to find tadpoles in the stream outside. They carefully caught some tadpoles which were safely taken to the big pond. Some were also put in a tank in the classroom for observation. The children are learning to take care of the tadpoles.

23.01.2022 The children enjoy taking care of our stick insects, spraying water on the leaves daily and providing them with fresh leaves. Today they had the opportunity to touch and watch them crawl all over their wonderful drawings.

21.01.2022 Here is a photo of our children picking starfruit from our tree. They enjoy watching the starfruit ripen by turning yellow, so we can eat them for morning and afternoon tea. Come and see our starfruit tree for yourselves, when you visit us on Sunday the 27th of May for our open day, 10am - 1pm. Looking forward to seeing you all.

20.01.2022 Here are some photos of our children being involved in one of our special events for the year Rangers on the Run. They provided many hands on opportunities to explore sea creatures, such as: sea stars, fish, octopus, hermit crabs and anemones.

16.01.2022 Our main aim and purpose in running the centre is to enhance children's learning and development. Programming for the children aims, include learning experiences in all important areas of development and to provide children with a varied, stimulating and educational environment.

13.01.2022 Also during June, we had an interesting and informative visit from one of our parents who is a dentist. The children listened well to clear explanations of how to clean our teeth, tongue and gums properly. (As seen in the photo, they also learnt how to clean dinosaurs' teeth!) He brought some new toothbrushes, so the children could take part in a demonstration. The children are always happy to see their parents share their skills with us.

05.01.2022 This week our four and five year olds have been taking part in the StEPS program, which is an initiative of NSW Health and offers a free vision screening.

02.01.2022 On the 13th of June, we were lucky enough to have a visit from Gary and Carol Crees. We often enjoy singing, moving and dancing to their international variety of music. The children, parents and staff participated enthusiastically. A big thanks to Garry and Carol for an entertaining morning. Gary and Carol Crees
