25.01.2022 Player Profile: Daniel Tsagdis Daniel was selected to train and play with the Dunbar Juniors Development U 13’s team this year. Over the course of the year, he worked hard both on the field and off the field and especially with the challenges that were presented during the year.... Daniel has been successful in training and signing to play with NPL2 Club Canterbury Bankstown FC for the 2021 season. The Dunbar Development program was crucial in helping him step up. 23.01.2022 Dunbar Rovers ESFA juniors would like to congratulate every player from our development squads selected to play NPL in 2021. Players like Gustavo Bigoto(photo) approved in the trials for the Under 14 Dunbar Rovers NPL 2021. Gustavo joined the club in 2019 having just arrived from Brazil & only played non-competitive 7 a side football. Gustavo was selected in our U13B team in 2019 playing a year up before moving to our U13A development team in 2020 whereby he quickly progress...ed into becoming a dominant left footed centre back. 10.01.2022 U15 Dunbar vs. Mascot GRAND FINAL 1-1 at full time, then we lost in penalty shootout 27th September 2020 The Grand Final was a hard-fought gritty game. At full time, it was a 1-1 draw. ... Unfortunately, we went down 4-3 in the penalty shootout. It was a fast-gritty game with both sides evenly matched most of the time. We played hard in the first half, but failed to convert opportunities. Mascot scored just before the first half bell to lead 1-0 at the break. In the second half, we controlled play more, dominating with our more fluent passing game. We scored the equaliser with a good through ball from Remy, a well-directed cross from Jai, and netted home by Louis. Then unfortunately our second goal was disallowed. We played furiously in the last minutes, but it was one all draw at full time. In the penalty shoot, we had an early lead, but nerves got the better of us and we ended up losing 4-3. Bad luck boys. A great season. Premiers in the competition proper. And unlucky not to win the Grand Final. A Big Shout Out to Kamil, our coach, very ably assisted by Justin, and the Dunbar club!
