21.01.2022 Recently Dundon Machinery repaired a brake dragging fault on this Isuzu FVR900 truck. The air was found to be back feeding in the brake circuit causing the park brake to drag. Upon investigation it was found to have two split rubber washers in brake valves allowing the air to bypass the park brake circuit. We replaced rubber washers and the park brake now functions as normal.

17.01.2022 On last week’s work run we have been busy servicing tractors and miscellaneous farm equipment. These have included Polaris, Kubota, Hinomoto and Chinese brand Jinma. 15.01.2022 Top Tip: When greasing your tractors front axle pivot bushes, elevate the front of the tractor to allow the grease to flow into the load bearing section of the pin and bush. If you don’t elevate the tractor, the grease will take the path of least resistance and not get to where it is needed. This is especially important for tractors with front end loaders.

05.01.2022 Some of the many jobs Dundon Machinery have undertaken lately was a Forklift and Kubota tractor service. Interestingly, this little Kubota was a grey import out of Japan and not registered with Kubota Australia. We managed to source parts for the Kubota via aftermarket manufacturers. We also sourced this bed former and attached it to a rotary hoe to make perfect planting beds for melon crops.

02.01.2022 An unusual task was undertaken this week! As carrot harvest is approaching for one of our farmers, their carrot washing machine was in need of some repair! We replaced worn bearings, pins, sprockets and chains. A new conveyor belt was also fitted. Thanks to SDR Engineering for fabricating the pins, custom made duplex sprockets and the roller shaft repair.
