15.01.2022 OK SO ABOUT TOMORROW - Rescheduled Fishing Trip is back ON.......We will only be open from 7am -12pm..... Why? WELL......Jackson & Amber (Amber our barista is also our daughter in law for those that don’t know) purchased their dads (Ben & Ashley) a fishing trip on Friday, (I know right ) and they invited the whole family (except me Liz & Lisa ) so I need to work but can’t work at both businesses (I clearly didn’t breed good thinkers) so I will be at the Laneway Lunchbo...x and Ernest, Anick & Sarah will open Dunes to serve you your morning caffeine.....I am very sorry but we are obviously a small family business and that small family are going fishing (without me) We are also a chef short and currently finding it very difficult to find a good one (bloody corona) So we are doing what we can to make sure you all still love us.....(and they all get to go fishing ) @yambafishingandcharters See more

15.01.2022 OUR WORST NIGHTMARE JUST CAME INTO AFFECT... Whilst we have been expecting it, we were hoping NSW might see some sense for people dealing with the elderly. But NO that has not been the case! So from Monday, it is going to take us a little longer to check our guests in and we ask everyone to bare with us. Not all is fair and even with the restrictions on business and our job just got a little harder. No relief in sight for our beloved little cafe....No restriction are set to be lifted for us at all in the near future. It makes me sad, that we are now having to work harder to seat the 20 people we are allowed. Much love Liz & Ben

13.01.2022 WE ARE ON CHRISTMAS BREAK THANK YOU to all the Dunes faithful for your unwavering support in a year like no other. WE GOT THERE, not without it’s challenges, restrictions, tears and frustrations, but we survived, we (maybe stupidily) opened up our little shop in town and we stretched ourselves way to far...... WE GOT THERE, because this bunch of legends are the best in the business they not only make your cuppas (mugs of chinos) toasted your sandwiches, make your lunches and bake your treats, all year they have been there for you all when times were tough, showed you how to use electronic sign in, lent a listening ear and were just bloody awesome. I could not have survived 2020 without any of them. We will always be grateful for every person that passes through our doors, even just to say hi and a little chat (cvd safe of course). We wish you all a load of love, happiness and laughter at this time of year, we hope you enjoy your time with loved ones and stay safe if you are traveling, from our Dunes Family, Liz, Ben, Amber, Ernie, Maya, Anick, Kieren & Caitlyn we wish you a very happy Christmas See more

11.01.2022 Bacon Benedict anyone? Just one of many items on our breakfast menu. Lunch Specials this week are- Beef lasagne with chips and salad.... Slow Cooked Lamb salad with buckwheat, tomato, cucumber, onion, green beans, Fetta, olives and balsamic dressing. Chicken Tender wrap , with tomato, onion, lettuce , cheese and sweet chilli! Served with chips.

11.01.2022 This week has been a week like no other for catering, although always our busiest week of the year it should never surprise me. So many not pictured because of the rush, including whole cakes & we had 20 ladies who had tart, chicken casserole & salmon risotto for lunch pick up hot at midday, naturally to busy for photos We are always open to discuss your options....We Do Require 3 days notice and some days do book out. I have earned my Christmas break after this week, hope your Sunday is restful, see you Monday from 7am

We certainly did although we did cancel our plans for our Victorian trip, we did get to celebrate with our offspring & their partners & their parents and that was lovely.
