06.01.2022 Hello Deadly Story Tellers! Did you know the Aboriginal Flag is the only flag in the world to be copyrighted? At the moment a Non-Indigenous business holds the licensing rights to the flag meaning people have to seek permission and pay before using the flag on clothing and digital media. Crazy huh? That's why you would not have seen one Aboriginal Flag on the playing field or uniforms during the AFL Indigenous Round.... Instead players wore Free The Flag tee's to support the campaign at Clothing The Gap If you want to know more about the Free The Flag movement and how you can get involved, check the website here and sign the petition: https://clothingthegap.com.au/pages/free-the-flag The Aboriginal Flag holds so much significance to Aboriginal people and is a symbol of pride, strength and unity. We want to hear what the Aboriginal flag means to you! Share your story with us now!
