13.01.2022 Great news: Dungog Pool will reopen from 2pm today (Friday 8 January). The specialist commercial dive team from Roejen Services have done a great job in replacing the damaged foot valve, while also performing inspections on the balance tank and other plant equipment.... While they have identified some additional, longer-term works that will also need to be carried out, we’re pleased that these urgent repairs could be carried out so quickly and safely, and that we can again reopen for everyone’s enjoyment later today. Plus, by utilising the skills of this specialist dive team, we’ve also been able to save approximately 60,000 litres of water from going to waste. 11.01.2022 Dungog Pool will be holding swimming assessments for the upcoming holiday intensive program and school term LTS programs for January. The assessments will be held every Thursday and Friday between 315pm - 615pm and go for up to 10 mins per assessment. These will go on for the next 4 weeks with extra added if needed. 06.01.2022 Dungog Pool is temporarily closed due to issues with its pumping and filtration system. This is a result of the pool’s ageing infrastructure and is currently being investigated by specialist contractors to develop a long-term solution. Investigations are expected to be completed this Friday 7 January. We apologise for any inconvenience and will provide further advice once investigations are complete.

The COVID Safe plan includes procedures and processes that are new for all aquatic centres and swimming pools.
