22.01.2022 We put a new tank up at the shearer’s huts this year......we just need it to rain now!!! Drinking water supply in this area definitely a bonus

19.01.2022 What a year 2020 has been!!!! It’s been a year of lockdown and Covid with no toilet paper and basics at certain times to the point we could barely do a normal shop to people being sick and losing loved ones As for Dunlop it’s been an amazing year on many levels from visitors in the area to getting lots of projects done...... Only a couple of weeks left for Morning tea before we wind into our summer months x I’m going to start posting some amazing things that happened for us in 2020 with our first post being our updated brochures we had done by Laura Gillard in Bourke to start the year....

16.01.2022 With 50 mls total (another 10mls overnight) All unsealed roads in our area are wet.... Our driveway alone will take a couple of sunny days to dry out!!!

13.01.2022 Wednesday 6th January 2021. Trevallyn Station located on the Darling Baaka, 75 kms North East of Wilcannia. Earlier this week it was reported on Channel 7 News ...that the rivers were flowing. If all the people living in this great country were aware of the fight we are up against driven by politics, greed & corruption the country would be in uproar. For now we are a minority voice but we will fight, we will be heard, we will be stronger & we urge all of you to continue this fight, keep educating yourselves and being a voice because if we all give up, the Darling Baaka gives up. #dontgiveuponthedarling See more

13.01.2022 Loved raiding our old machinery spot this year for our old car at the car park ....waiting for a tour perhaps We got our longdrops working.....surprisingly how many guests try them!!! Watch out for the redbacks

13.01.2022 Fish are biting and the weather has been amazing!!!! Ashton Campbell is a regular here at Dunlop and loves his fishing....well done

11.01.2022 With the weather warming up in the next week or 2 we will start to close down on our Tours and Morning tea on our Property soon At this stage we will run until the end of the month and then by appointment Camping still available all year round ... Tours are Tuesday, Thursday’s, Friday’s, Saturday and Sunday at 11am I am closed for Tours Monday and Wednesday !!!

05.01.2022 I’m lucky enough to have had some wonderful friends call in and stay during the year x Wayne and Jos were very clever in fixing some unsafe flooring in the store building with hand made bricks on Dunlop In the shearing shed Wayne was able to fix nearly all the original gate locks...don’t they look amazing!!!... Walking through history and putting it back together

04.01.2022 We uncovered the last of our fireplaces in the house this year..... The house has 8 fireplaces. Now to check some chimneys...how cool would be to have a couple of fireplaces working again x
