24.01.2022 Process of Thought by @_nathan_hass has been our latest acquisition. Very honoured to be the lucky owner of this wonderful work. This morning I noticed how perfectly the morning light filtered through the blinds and placed itself on the canvas harmoniously with this stunning piece. This artwork was a stand out from Perspective at Dunmore Gallery last year and has ever since held a place in my heart and memory. So glad to have it hang permanently at the Dunmore residence.... Nathan has been continuing to creat amazing artworks throughout 2020 as well as high quality artist prints of his work. Make sure you hop on over to @_nathan_hass to see his latest works. 17.01.2022 Our Christmas new year break looked a lot like this. Happy new year to all. 2020 is here and we are gearing up to make it a big one. Reopening tomorrow morning from 7am for coffee and Drink & Draw 7-9am. If you haven’t had a chance to check out Blue Soup by @frankleefrivolous it is in it’s final week. So don’t miss out. Open Thursday Friday & Saturday from 7am-9am, 12-2pm each day. ... Hope your 2020 vision is set to achieve great things. 09.01.2022 In such an interesting and turbulent time I hope all you creative souls have been finding extra time to commit to your process, or to reflect and find beauty in the Mundane moments in life that made you stop and reflect or have a breakthrough of whatever kind. Life at Dunmore Gallery has been chaos. We look forward to getting the doors open again in the coming months and seeing all of your beautiful faces again. For now while the doors a closed and we are not yet mingling,... we are asking the question of Mundane. How in the quiet moments of life in isolation at home or in your community what have you seen felt or experience that has made you question the value of your unique mundane and the beauty of your personal experiences within it. If you’ve made any artwork, found inspiration in anyway shape or form that reflects this. 01.01.2022 Just letting one slip before tomorrow night. This abstract sculpture by Gallery Director Gerard Addison @geewilladdison is names ‘Soul’ carved from unwanted damaged hebel stone. The soul is a gateway that processes all ranges of human emotion and all that is directed towards a person. This sculpture turns and twists through itself, sometimes splitting off. What the heart and mind learn and communicate with the soul is only a fraction of what the soul processes always. This sculpture is a reflection of the enormous job it continually does without thanks and without a sound. Look forward to seeing you all for the opening of ‘Treasure’. BYO drinks.
