22.01.2022 "Tri-Nations' Pork Yakitori" A unique dish packed with desirable flavour! Come in tomorrow between 7am-12:30pm if you want the best Pork in town.... INGREDIENTS: 200g pork rump or strip loin 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon mirin 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Place soy sauce, mirin, garlic and brown sugar in a small saucepan over a medium-high heat. Bring to the boil. Then reduce to medium heat and simmer for 2 minutes or until sauce has reduced and thickened slightly. Allow to cool completely. 2. Coat rump with Yakitori sauce, garnish with sliced onion and/or carrot 3. Grill on a medium-high heat, 3-4 minutes on each side. Allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving. 4. ENJOY!! 22.01.2022 Tri-Nations' Pork and Apple Mignon Showing you again another fabulous dish packed with healthy flavour! INGREDIENTS:... 250g pork loin steak 1 rasher bacon 1 tablespoon stewed apples (pre-made unsweetened apple pie filling or apple sauce) 20g fresh apple tsp cinnamon sugar COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Wrap one rasher of bacon around the pork loin, using a toothpick to hold securely. 2. Place one tablespoon of stewed apple on top of the steak and spread evenly. 3. Slice the fresh apple thinly and fan it over the top of the stewed apple. 4. Sprinkle lightly with the cinnamon sugar. 5. Pre-heat an oven to 180 degrees. Place on a lightly greased baking tray and bake for 40 mins. 6. Enjoy! We are in here today to 6pm, or come in and see us tomorrow from 7am to 12:30pm!

22.01.2022 "Tri-Nations' Mediterranean Pork Pizza" Everyone loves a pizza! So why not add our beautiful pork to give that flavour everyone is looking for! So come into the shop tomorrow between 7am and 12:30pm and treat yourself to our flavoursome pork to throw on top of that pizza!... INGREDIENTS: 12 Pizza Base (250g) 400g Pork Mince 25g Rocket 4 balls Bocconcini Cheese 4 slices Char Grilled Capsicum 100g Grated Cheese 50g Tomato Paste COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Roll the pork mince into approximately 7 balls of about 57 grams each. Season with salt and pepper and put them to one side. Cut the char grilled capsicum into small strips. Cut each of the Bocconcini balls into 3. 2. Place the tomato paste in the centre of the pizza base and swirl it around with the back of a spoon to make sure all of the base is covered. 3. Place meatballs equally apart on the pizza and press down slightly so they are flat on top. Then layer the rocket and capsicum strips around the meatballs. Next add the bocconcini on top of the meatballs and finally sprinkle the grated cheese over the meatballs. 4. ENJOY! This one is a must guys! See you all tomorrow!

20.01.2022 "Tri-Nations' Pork Stacks" A Beautifully simple meal, packed with healthy flavour. Yet again providing you with our gorgeous Pork to create an easy dish within 30 minutes.... So, come in tomorrow between 7am - 6pm and grab yourself the best Pork in town. INGREDIENTS: 150g Pork leg steak 30g roast capsicum 30g eggplant, sliced thinly 10g silverbeet 10g sun-dried tomato 10g red onion 2 slices prosciutto COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Thinly slice the pork steak through the middle so you are able to fold the steak over and fill with ingredients, in order to make the steak resemble a baguette. 2. Stack all of vegetables in between the pork steak layers. 3. Place the slices of prosciutto on top of the pork steak and secure the 'pork baguette' with string in order to keep the ingredients in place. 4. Pre-heat an oven to 180 degrees. Place on a lightly greased baking tray and bake for 30 minutes. 5. Enjoy ! Optional: Add cheese on top of the layered vegetables So don't be shy, get yourself in tomorrow and make the most if it !

13.01.2022 "Pork and Fennel Sausage Rolls" There isn't anything better then a nice sausage roll! Add our pork to that and you are in for a treat! Come in tomorrow between 7am and 6pm and grab as much as you need! ... INGREDIENTS: 2.1kg pork sausage mince 6 sheets puff pastry 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon fennel seeds 1 teaspoon red chilli 1 teaspoon bay leaf 1 teaspoon garlic 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon lemon zest COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Mix pork sausage mince and dry ingredients together in a large bowl. 2. Lay out pastry sheets and cut in half using a roller cutter. 3. Place a roll of pork mixture along the length of each pastry piece. 4. Brush the edge with a little water and roll the pastry over to seal. 5. Place sausage rolls on a baking tray and brush with egg or milk. 6. Bake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees. 7. Cut into 36 portions and prick each roll with a fork. 8. Garnish the sausage rolls with a sprinkle of fennel seeds. 9. Enjoy! You don't want to miss this one guys trust me! See you all tomorrow!



11.01.2022 "Chipotle Marinated Pork Steak" A fast and simple two step cooking method guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds. Our beautiful Pork Steaks, packed with flavour, come in tomorrow between 7am - 12:30pm if you want the best of the best in your Pork.... INGREDIENTS: 4 x 2cm thick boneless pork steaks approx. 200g each 1 tablespoon salt flakes 1 teaspoon chipotle chilli powder 1 tablespoon smoked paprika 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 tablespoon taco seasoning Brush the pork steaks with a little oil. Combine all of the rub ingredients in a bowl. Sprinkle the mixture over the pork steaks and rub well. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Pre-heat a griddle plan, frying pan or BBQ over a medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Brush the pan with a little oil. 2. Place the pork steaks in the pan or on the BBQ plate and cook for 6 minutes, turn the steak and cook for a further 2 minutes. Remove the steaks from the pan and rest in a warm place for 2 minutes. Serving suggestion Serve with grilled veggies such as corn, sweet potato, eggplant, squash & red onion and a chilli or lime mayonnaise. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

08.01.2022 "Tri-Nations' Porcini Pork Medallion" Bringing to you again another amazing dish. Giving you all some great ideas on how to make some fantastic meals using our delicious pork. Come in tomorrow from 7am - 6pm!... INGREDIENTS: Pork Rack 1 teaspoon Porcini Powder 250g Butter COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Remove pork from fridge and allow to reach room temperature. Twist the rib bone so that it lies parallel to the loin steak. 2. Cut the pork rack into steaks approximately 2cm thick. Twist the rib bone of each vertically so that the steak sits flat. 3. Heat a frying pan to hot and sear the pork for 6 minutes on the side without butter. Turn and cook for a further 2 minutes. Allow pork to rest for 2 minutes as the butter melts over and flavours the pork. 4. Using a piping bag, pipe the butter on top of the medallions. Alternatively quenelle the butter with a spoon and place on top of steak. For presentation garnish with pancetta. 5. ENJOY! This is such a beautiful dish, so get yourself in and make the most if it!
