11.01.2022 Today HRCAV sent out a communication to all clubs that all events are to be cancelled until May 18th due to Corona Virus. Regrettably, due to this direction we will now need to postpone the freshmans scheduled for Anzac Day on April 25th. All lesson days scheduled between now and May 18th (or until further communications advise otherwise) will go ahead, as long as the instructor is happy to proceed with the following provisions needing to be observed;... 1 - The clubrooms will be closed and riders will need to bring their own food and drinks. 2 - Come alone if possible and with enough time to get ready for your lesson and leave as soon as possible once its completed. Observe the social distancing requirements set out by the state and federal governments whilst on the grounds. 3 - Money is not to be paid directly to the instructor it will need to be paid into the DHAC account and a receipt of payment sent through prior to your lesson. Not the day of the lesson at least 24 hrs before. 4 - Ensure that you observe good personal hygiene practices throughout the course of the day While we appreciate these requirements are frustrating it is really important that we all do our part to slow the spread of the virus down. We dont want to stop lessons as its important that life doesnt stop completely but we just need to be smart during this time. If you have any questions please feel free to send through a message. Thanks so much for your support. Bec Schroeder

11.01.2022 Due to stage 3 restrictions coming in from Weds for regional Victoria the Eventing clinic in August will be postponed to October 3/4. If you have already entered then your entry will automatically roll over to October unless you advise me otherwise. All current entrants will receive an email in the next 24 hours asking them if they want a refund or to hold the entry for October. I am trying to reschedule the poles clinic and will hopefully be able to secure Amanda for later ...in the year. If this isnt possible then entries will be refunded. Lessons with Nina on Aug 26th will also be cancelled at this stage. Thanks Bec

11.01.2022 We are changing the way we take membership this year for all DHAC club affiliations in 2019/2020 and we have partnered with event Secretary to utilise their website for existing and new members to join. The link to pay membership is as follows; https://eventsecretary.com.au/club/?cmd=1$4!5aX#Entry:1154... HRCAV have taken on board the feedback from members and their levies have dropped for this coming year DHAC HRCAV Senior Member - $190 DHAC HRCAV Junior Member - $145 DHAC HRCAV Non Riding Member - $65 DHAC HRCAV Associate Member - $50 We also offer Club Membership to ATHRA & Equestrian Australia (EA) Members. Club membership gives you access the grounds inc XC course, reduced lesson and clinic fees, and preference at lesson days and clinics over non DHAC riders. The $35 club fee can also be paid via the above link and proof of current membership for insurance purposes needs to be sent to [email protected] at the time of payment. The link is available now to put through your membership whether rejoining the club or you are a brand new member.

09.01.2022 Yona Lloyd is at Dunolly on Weds 13th Jan for SJ or DR lessons. $100 for a private lesson and $50 for shared. Send a PM if you would like to secure a spot

09.01.2022 A note to the lovely person who has been out to the grounds and obviously parked their float on the bluestone arena, in turn leaving hay and poo all over it...... please can you pop back out to the grounds and clean up the mess you have left!!!!! Its fresh poo so its happened in the last few days. This is really disappointing for a couple of reasons;... 1 - while the grounds are not locked we are supposed to be refraining from travelling horses and ourselves unless your going to the farrier or vet due to covid-19..... how about a $1600 fine and have to clean up poo at the same time!!! 2 - this is really disrespectful to the members and committee of the club. It costs us money to spray that arena twice a year to keep the weeds off it. POO = WEEDS..... at the moment the club has zero income so additional maintenance costs are really not needed at the moment I will be popping out there tomorrow and hopefully I get there and it has been cleaned up and all will be forgiven. Thanks Bec

05.01.2022 Our July Eventing Clinic was so popular it filled up in 24 hrs and sadly some riders missed out..... we are pleased to announce that as we hate for riders to miss out we have booked another one in August with the same instructors. The entry form for the Aug eventing clinic is here - https://eventsecretary.com.au/equestrian/#Entry:8638 We also have a new coach joining us in August to conduct a poles clinic. The entry form for the poles clinic is here - https://eventsecretary.com.au/equestrian/#Entry:8639 So you dont miss out please get your entries as oons as the clinics open up.

05.01.2022 The current Melbourne/Mitchell Shire Lockdown does not effect our upcoming lesson days and clinics at DHAC as we are not in a locked down area. We will be moving forward with everything we have planned over the next six weeks unless something changes with our current status. Sadly we will not be able to accept entries from anyone located in the locked down areas. If you have already entered and are located in a locked down area we will be providing a refund.

04.01.2022 Entries for the Aug Eventing Clinic & The Poles Clinic are now open via www.eventsecretary.com.au Make sure you get your entries in early so you dont miss out
