20.01.2022 VACANCIES - For Queenslanders Due to the border closure we have had a few vacancies open up over the next month we have vacancies from 28th August through to 21st September. Please get in touch if you can make it out for a visit. HUNTING UPDATE... Pig numbers picking up rather rapidly. Several of the grain tubs when filled are disappearing in 2/3 days. Heaps of track and some pigs around with very big feet! Mobs of 10+ getting about now. Crops coming along nicely after some very welcome rain over past few weeks. Looks like hunting off the stubble might be a reality in 2020 touch wood. Kind regards Paul & Sally

08.01.2022 THE GUN RANGE Dunroman Hunting now boasts it’s very own private 1000m gun range for the use of our hunters at no extra charge. It features 100m markers, shooting banks with turf, BBQ area and target frame. It has all weather access, perfect for sighting in your guns on arrival or hosting a bit of a shooting comp between mates! Check it out when your here on your next hunting trip.

07.01.2022 CARETAKER/CASUAL WORKER REQUIRED We are currently looking for a caretaker to live in the homestead at Dunroman as well as provide casual labour when required throughout the year. Caretaking duties would include looking after the homestead garden, some handyman jobs, feeding domestic animals, watering cottage garden and checking waters when we are away.... Casual labour duties would include: helping with the livestock and cropping business, eg livestock handling, farm and machinery maintenance and operation. The homestead is 5 bed, 2 bath, air con, fireplace, established garden. 30km (bitumen road) to nearest town with hospital and school. Immediate start available. We are willing to negotiate a flexible work arrangement and remuneration package for the right person. Would ideally suit couple or family.
