20.01.2022 We replace hard drives, graphic cards, power supplies or any other hardware. Formatting (erasing your hard drive) and software installation are no problem. Or maybe you just need some unbiased advice on buying a new computer or technology system or deciphering what the internet salesman is really talking about.

11.01.2022 Malware Alert: There is a new variant of Crypto-wall Malware going around as of today claiming to be the Office of State Revenue. It looks legitimate. It is not! It is a very NASTY virus and will cause you all manner of problems to remove. It systematically encrypts your data as fast as it can we’ve seen it do 10’s of thousands of files in minutes. Currently there is no "free" way of decrypting your data. If you have no backups your only potential avenue, if you are infecte...d, will be to pay the fine. Never ever trust links in your email at this point - if you ever need to check for authenticity of a link - try to browse to the site manually from memory by typing the link into your address bar e.g. www.westpac.com.au DO NOT CLICK LINKS that you aren't 100% certain you know where they will go. 07.01.2022 Hi everyone, there's a new version of cryptolocker going around at the moment, with an email that looks like it's from Microsoft offering to allow you to upgrade your PC to Windows 10 from a website. As always, remain vigilant with checking suspect emails, don't open attachments from random/unknown people, check domain names and email addresses as well as the content of the email (poor english or UTF-8 characters appearing). 02.01.2022 Microsoft will end their support of Windows XP on April 8. If you're still using Windows XP, you will need to strongly consider upgrading to Windows 7 or 8.1 very soon.
01.01.2022 If you get a call from someone saying they're from Windows Tech Support or some other PC support company saying that you have a virus on your computer, please hang up. It is a scam. They cannot tell what computer you have, let alone whether there is a virus on it. They will try to sell you software or even worse, install spyware or a trojan onto your computer.
