The nation’s wool stockpile is expected to grow further as growers reacted to a major drop in the prices this week by passing in more than 30 percent of the 42,764-bale offering. This has again raised questions about how much of the fibre is being held in broker stores and on farms, and would growers, traders and end-users benefit from knowing industry stocks on hand. 15.01.2022 2/9/20 - Wool prices continue to drop with the national average declining 46c, with 16.5 micron merino and 26 micron crossbred losses reaching -113 and -154 respectively
14.01.2022 9/9/20 - Back on track this week but still a long way to go. There has been increases in all microns, 18 micron and 30 micron saw the highest gains with average spike of 39 cents across the board.

11.01.2022 28/10/20 - This week saw a drop in all microns after three weeks of continual rises. The finer wool had the largest decreases, with the overal market going down -81c
