Put yourself in their shoes - imagine being restricted in the same way. Dogs have an inherently appeasing nature, so you may not be able to tell they are uncomfortable. Look out for subtle changes to their gait. When using a harness, please make sure your dog can achieve full extension and run/jump freely without restriction to their chest and forelegs.
