22.01.2022 We had a great training night with some of the team from Athletes Foot Castle Hill Store. Vicki Hewett our other Podiatrist and I used the time to show the team what we do,to provide our clients with the best outcomes possible. They experienced our Zebris Force plate video assessment and our Foot alignment casting method. We love working with these guys and so do our clients.

15.01.2022 On my way back from the Australian Sports Medicine Conference on the Gold Coast. Also had an awesome day with the Australian Podiatric Sports Medicine group at a Running Symposium. So much to digest and to introduce the latest research based treatments into our practice for our awesome clients. Love love love Sports Medicine!!!

14.01.2022 We have a fourth year Podiatry Student with us at Hills Podiatry Centre for a four week placement. Her name is Vanessa Edwards and she has developed my facebook page for me. It has been a long time coming, as I am not particularly technical. She has downloaded a few photos of our clinic, as well. Tell us what you think of our new location!

14.01.2022 Celia and Vicki, our two awesome part time Podiatrists, are off to the National Podiatry Conference on the Gold Coast this week . I look forward to hearing about all the new updates, so we can continue to improve our care for you.

13.01.2022 We had the awesome team from Athletes Foot Castle Hill come to visit our practice and have an education evening on how we Assess and Cast clients. We performed a ZEBRIS assessment on one of the team and CAST them using our Vertical Foot Alignment System. They all commented how much they enjoyed seeing our process and our rooms. We love to showcase our amazing practice and team. We would love anyone to drop by and say HI!

12.01.2022 Today we said goodbye to Vanessa Edwards, our 4th year Podiatry student from Uni of Western Sydney. She has been with us for 4 weeks and we will miss her. Hopefully it wont be the last time we see her.

10.01.2022 Spending my weekend at a Biomechanics Bootcamp / conference. Run by Craig Payne... Excellent learning. Looking at things differently.

09.01.2022 Our fantastic Zebris Machine for patient biomechanical analysis.Our diagnostic treadmill also has more than 5000 sensors within the belt. These are connected to a computer which displays the distribution of force and pressure for each footstep as a moving colour coded contour diagram. We all have individual ways of moving and the diagnostic equipment we have at Hills Podiatry allows us to analyse the data supplied. This gives you the best outcome and treatment options.... Our Zebris FDM-T is a highly sensitive Force Distribution Treadmill with movement pressure sensors in the belt of the treadmill.

07.01.2022 A big congratulations to our client Alison Stephens who competed in THE BIG RED RUN . This is a 6 day 250 km ultra marathon starting and ending in Birdsville . This event raised money for JDRF for juvenile diabetes. We were proud to be one of this amazing young mums sponsors.

05.01.2022 Today we have been updating our website and our podiatrist profiles. Have you met our podiatrist Vicki? She works for us Wed-Friday at our Dural practice. Vicki Hewett graduated from the University of Newcastle with a bachelor of health science podiatry. Prior to her career as a podiatrist, Vicki was a remedial massage therapist for 15 years and has an amazing and extensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. She has a special focus in treating biomechanical abnormalitie...s and muscle imbalances. Vicki has interests in general podiatry, lower limb and foot pain and general lower limb foot injuries. Vicki is also trained in dry needling and muscle rehabilitation and will take the time to discuss with you, your treatment options.
