25.01.2022 This afternoon’s training involved finding, marking and testing a number of hydrants in the Carters Road area A reminder to residents who may have a hydrant point in front of their house not to cover it so that we can always access them. Having access to water is an important part of our job.

21.01.2022 Last night the Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai Rural Fire Service Held it’s medal presentation. As part of this presentation the annual training awards were also presented. Our Captain, Jarryd, had the honour of attending on behalf of Dural Brigade to accept the awards for 2nd place in the annual district exercise and 2nd place in the annual navigation exercise. Well done to all of the members who participated in the events.

It was the first time we were able to spend time reflecting and remembering the 2019/2020 fire season as a Brigade due to the impact of covid-19.
