25.01.2022 Seriously loving this week and this time of year! The horses are happy, grass is plentiful and everyone is all smiles. I even tried my hand today at my first ever FaceTime lesson with Maddie & Riley in Sydney and amazingly it was a success! Looking like tomorrow will be a super finish to an awesome work week

22.01.2022 Super proud dressage coach moment with Bridie and Sunny winning their dressage phase at Denman ODE EVA80 last weekend with a score of 71.11%. They then went on... to win the whole class after clear jumping and XC Most eventers find the dressage component boring but Bridie is a perfectionist and is my proof of how being on top of that leader board on day 1 can have you enter the next phases with a positive outlook. Congrats chick!! Big congrats to her jumping coach Marlene and also to her Mum Danielle who is the ever dedicated driver and support for this awesome duo! 20.01.2022 A good app (IQ air visual) for us to be using at the moment. Please be mindful of working horses in such poor air quality. Horses have wonderfully designed respiratory systems to make them the amazing athletes we enjoy. As such taking in large volumes of Smokey air during exercise can cause damage, resulting in infection and long term effects. Their health is our responsibility. The 7 day forecast on this app will be my go to when planning my lessons and working horses over the coming weeks.

19.01.2022 Big thanks to Paul Cornale for looking after our fur babies today. We are lucky to have our horses in such good hands with both of our 3year olds needing wolf tooth extraction and our other riding horses needing some routine work and mouth balancing. You’re a legend!

We are very fortunate to have the wonderful Scott Brodie coming to DP for a day of lessons.... Scott has formerly worked as a mounted instructor and horse trainer with the Mounted police in Sydney. He is the author of horses for courses and works to apply the practical aspects of classical dressage and natural horsemanship to allow his students to get the best out of their horse. He has extensive experience working with racing NSW in retraining of retired racehorses. During your lesson you can focus on developing skills on the ground, under saddle or even work on issues such as floating issues or spooky horses. Lessons are $120 As this is our first clinic with Scott at our property there will be no arena charge for lessons. Wash bay available and plenty of room for float turning. Im still receiving calls for people in the Sussex, Ulladulla and Wandandian area needing places to evacuate horses. ... Perhaps we can share this post and people can comment their location, availability for horses (yards, paddocks, stables etc) and their contact numbers as an easy reference for people in these fire affected areas?? 05.01.2022 Its boys all round this year! Another mare successfully foaled down at our DP mare and foal facility. Huge congratulations to Amelia Panetta on the birth of a beautiful dark embryo transfer colt named Sachi. (Japanese for Miracle/blessing). The beautiful Recip mare Ninx from HEVC is doing amazingly well and for a maiden we couldnt be feeling more blessed with how she is nurturing this little guy. Super excited and thankful to have been part of Amelias first foal an...d safe to say we are pretty obsessed with the little guy Baby Kadenz owned by Liz & Graham Burdis Is eagerly awaiting the chance to have some paddock time with his new little mate and spends much of the day staring at him through the fence Enjoy the cuteness of foaling season.

03.01.2022 Winners are grinners Reserve champ horse of the year junior for Bridie & Lilly & 1st place juniors prelim in both tests today. 1st place in both prep tests for Chelsea and Wiseman with 73% & 74%!!! 2nd place for Laura and Rodger in both Novice tests and a star performance for Amy and Tommy with incredible scores of 74% and over 75% to win the Pony Prep classes. I am extremely passionate about helping people achieve their goals in a fun and encouraging environment. ... I work closely with students to help them build a strong and confident partnership with their horse and to allow them to focus on the fundamental training to improve strength and straightness. I have successfully competed to Inter I level and have over 14 years of experience as an instructor teaching students from Beginner to Medium level. Lessons will be available at the beautiful Clifden Park in Arcadia and I am happy to travel to surrounding areas including (but not limited to) Galston, Glenorie & Dural. 45 minute lessons $60 1 hour lessons $80 Indoor arena hire at Clifden park $25 per hour.
