24.01.2022 Look closely and you will see a Dainty Swallowtail butterfly on the ginger bush at the Durras Beach House. Bird and insect life is again flourishing after the damaging summer, a good sign that regrowth has commenced. Come down and have a look for yourself!

19.01.2022 Bron and I have been working hard to keep our beach house in good nick! We have replaced the fly screens to help keep the mozzies out and a new Weber BBQ has been added for those outdoor dining occasions. We have also added wifi for those who wish to stream their favourite shows Spring in the garden has been kind and the bottlebrush and Lilly Pillys are looking good. Durras lake is returning to its best, the Pelicans are back and the ocean is warming up.... The calendar is filling up so plan ahead for your next Durras getaway! Greg & Bron

09.01.2022 October and November see the Bottlebrush in all their glory.You can’t see them but there are heaps of bees having a nectar party along with all the local native birds. Sitting on the deck watching nature is so good!
