19.01.2022 Study 2: As a young man, I investigated our human tendency to extend the beliefs of our ancestors and our inability to formulate our own convictions. I compared the political preference of young students to that of their parents and found an exact duplication. The fact that there was no difference in opinion between the parents and their adolescents political beliefs implied that the students did not formulate their independent and objective views, but simply piggybacked the...ir parents views. It is important to free ourselves from preconceived ideas and traditions. This applies to liberal and conservative thinkers; they all fall into this trap. The fact is that we do not venture beyond where we dont feel safe anymore. It is important to consider that only men and women of courage make great discoveries, and there is more for you and me to discover if we dare to go there.

18.01.2022 Study 1: Society accepts many teachings as the norm, and the masses tend to flock towards many popular teachings, locking themselves into many philosophies and not really questioning the foundation of their teachings and practices. 15.01.2022 Matthew 5:43-48 (ESV) 43 "You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy. 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet on...ly your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. In this passage, Jesus tells us to love our enemies. We are called to love the people who hate us. Here are a few questions to think about: What is the difference between the old approach to enemies and Jesus approach? Why should we love our enemies? What does loving our enemies practically look like in everyday life?

05.01.2022 Hi there, I am an ordinary guy planning to post many ideas, confessions and learnings on the DUST site. I am so over pew Christianity, so over a messed up religious world. The first-century church was built by many ordinary men, like you and me! Jesus called men that were ordinary, sinful, non-religious and looked down upon to follow Him. You are all called by God to be his disciple and leader. I believe that ordinary men have been marginalised in churches with CEO like struc...ture where intellectual and charismatic pastors control the speech. Maybe a controversial statement! Act 4:13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. What do you think? What does the Bible teach? Consider who God chose to lead His church? Are you an ordinary person? An ordinary man, women that think you should only sit in the back of the pews? 05.01.2022 Jesus called ordinary men to be disciples but today spiritual leaders are the learned leaders, similar than in the time of Jesus Christ. So unlike the first disciples. 04.01.2022 I am amazed that abortion is not considered as murder. Why is this not a big-ticket item for social justice campaigners? Social justice has attacked most of the key fibers of society: legalized divorce, promoted partnerships where commitment is negotiable, confused gender roles, legalized almost every combination of sexual sin (legalizing lower age for boys having sex with pedophiles is next), introduced easy access to pornography (sex between man and women is no longer sacre...d, it is fun), associates fathers with toxic masculinity (these strong men have sacrificed themselves for their families), banned disciplining children (creating a generation without boundaries and non-resilient), disconnected children from their parents (internet, & flat screens), siloed younger generation from older generations (experienced from older generations goes lost), disarmed parents from teaching their preferred values system to children (that is now the role of the schools, "Safe School teaching"), forcing mothers to work (mothers powerful parenting role is now compromised), legalized abortion (killing of babies), denying the existence of God (science or you are the new gods, yet where does that all come from?), the sins from church leaders have become appalling (they are false teachers), our value system has become flued (abandoning Gods teachings in the Bible & Tora), euthanasia is now acceptable, became partially illegal to speak out against these things (might offend someone..well I am more than offended by what has happened), what is next? Ever wondered why you and your childrens lives are not so good anymore? The fibers that were supposed to hold your life together are under attack and have mostly disintegrated. When good men do nothing evil reigns. Rom 1:28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know Gods righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
