16.01.2022 It is with great sadness and so many memories that we share the news that Bob Pryce passed away today after his battle with cancer. Thanks for all the warm wishes and so many stories that you've shared about Bob. There's a Blob shaped hole in Coober Pedy that cant be refilled. Theis is the time that the community needs to band together and strengthen one another. We'll share news about the arrangements and how everyone can be a part of Bob's sendoff as news comes to light. Please remember to seek help if you're feeling low. Our thoughts and support are with Lyndal and the girls during this difficult time.

14.01.2022 I've got some really sad news for Coober Pedy. Bob's cancer has been spreading at a really rapid rate and he's at the point now where he wont be leaving the hospital. Bob and his family have been inundated with love and support from friends all over the country. If you'd like to comment with a message of love or share a memory of Bob it'd be great if you could leave a comment. We'll do our best to share as many messages as we can with Bob over these coming days. This is a really hard time for so many in Coober Pedy, please make sure you're looking out for one another during this tough time, and remember if you're feeling low support is available.

Loud shirts and clashing ties are optional. Photos with captions and/or written stories to share would be appreciated. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Your life was a blessing. Your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

06.01.2022 A private funeral for Bob Pryce's family will be held on Saturday July 14. This will be followed by a public memorial at the race course at 2pm. All attendees are invited to bring a plate of food to share for tea. Drinks will be BYO. A cricket game at the race club is also being organised. People are welcome to come and go at any time. If you'd like to write a tribute or share a memory on paper it'd be great to share with everyone to read. Dress code is that it is preferable... for a loud shirt with a mismatched bright tie. 03.01.2022 Gday Coober Pedy! Most of our volunteers are out of town, and it might take a while longer for issues to be resolved. It would also be useful if there are issues with the station to directly message this page, as it goes straight to those who are able to fix the problem. We are very responsive to messages! In 2019 we will be exploring options for upgrading our systems and software to prevent radio silence in the future. On behalf of Dusty I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season and we look forward to continuing to tickle your ears over the coming year!!
