22.01.2022 This little guy was giving me a few manoeuvring tips this morning ... hang a right, breath in & straight through mate! If you happen across one of these guys in the water, keep your feet flat and shuffle or just let it pass, Stingrays are Elasmobranch’s (no bones) and a vital part of the underwater cleaning system and food chain. Whatever you do, never cut off their tails if caught as a by catch, better to cut your line or use a stick to hold down its tail while removing the ...hook. My Bush mother while in East Arnhem Land (Yonglu mob) told me Stingray was one of the first solid foods for babies, the flesh is boiled and mixed with the liver which is protein rich and highly nutritious. 21.01.2022 This week at the Beach my little mate celebrated his 12th Birthday with a Surf lesson from local legend and former World Champion surfer Pam Burridge. What an awesome way to start a day on the South Coast of NSW.

07.01.2022 Today out Bush, one of Australia’s best bush tuckers, Native Figs, ripe and sweet on the banks of the Clyde River. Out bush make sure you have sound knowledge of native plants and fruits before eating. Right next to the Australian Fig was a bush full of cherry tomatoes ... but they’re not, having a feed on them will make you as crook as a dog and then some. Take a lesson from nature, if fruit looks ripe and nothing is eating it, leave it alone. Have a great day
