20.01.2022 It is Dusty Diamonds extreme pleasure to introduce to our followers our 2017 Junior Sponsors, Dakota & Memphis Auld. Upon receiving our Junior Sponsorship Appli...cations we were left with quite a decision to make. Two girls presented to us, sisters, both with striking past performances and amazing personalities to boot. Both applying for our Sponsorship individually and both jumping off the page at us from the moment we read their application. Never did we think that we would have to choose between two girls that were within the same household. So we didn't choose, we took them both! (With permission from their parents - lol) Dakota & Memphis are from Tanilba Bay in NSW. Supported enormously by their parents Connie and Mick throughout their riding careers, these girls are honest, competitive and they live and breathe riding horses! Dakota is 10yrs of age and Memphis is 11yrs old. Dakota (aka Kots) rides her best friend 'Prince' who is a 9yr old, 14.2hh registered Paint Pony. This year Dakota hopes to achieve a competitive result in Barrels and Bending. Her favourite colour is purple, she loves dressing up, riding in the rain and also loves having her photo taken. Memphis (aka Minnie) rides her best friend 'Vegas' who is an 8yr old, 13hh Australian Riding Pony. This year Memphis hopes to get a personal best whilst Barrel Racing. Her favourite colour is Turquoise, also loves having her photo taken and aspires to be the best. Their local club is the Salt Ash Sporting Club in which they have successfully competed side by side in the under 12's, along with attending school horse sporting events, rodeos and trying their hand at Campdrafting & Barrel Racing Days. Now with their sights set firmly on entering competitively into Barrel Racing this year, we have no doubt that these girls have the drive, support and love for the barrels that will see them have an amazing season. 17.01.2022 Dusty Diamonds is extremely excited and proud to introduce to you our 2017 Mature Age Sponserette, Maddison Swan. Maddison lives in Ropeley, QLD and competes in... Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Steer Undecorating, Barrel Racing Futurities and Derbys. Maddison has spent many years pursuing her competitive riding career. Some of her most recent achievements to date are obtaining the 2012 Open Barrel Racing Rookie Champion, competing in the 2013 Equitana Sydney Qualifier and just last year Maddison competed in the Barrel Racing World Final in Georgia, USA, and ranked 13th in the world!! Maddison is 25yrs old, is the mother of four children, two girls and two boys (the youngest being 18months old) and is supported whole heartedly by her fiancé Jason and her mum Deb. Whilst not competing or training she works for JD Bucking Bulls and in her downtime she stays in the saddle to break and train a field of young horses all heading for success. Her selection of steeds for this year include, but are not limited to, 'Resistol', 'Relentless' and 'Jessie's Jewel'. Maddison's 2017 goal is to have her young riding team well seasoned and aspires to again compete at the world finals in the years to come. Maddison is extremely motivated, highly competitive and dedicated to her horses. We truly believe she is Wonder Woman and we just can't wait to see her in action this season. We are so privileged to have this superstar onboard with Dusty Diamonds and couldn't be prouder of her past achievements. Welcome to the family Maddison!
