24.01.2022 Wanneer Amerikaanse acteurs jokken op hun CV dat ze vloeiend Nederlands spreken. Wiens nep-Hollands wint?

22.01.2022 Plezierige feestdagen! 2020 Almost ready to begin.

22.01.2022 RSVP ASAP if intrested!

21.01.2022 The Borrel Party Thanks to Jan Müller CEO of the NFSA wat een spreker is die man who enriched us on our inaugural Borrel party with an interesting talk about his life and how his hobby in film and sound brought him to Australia, where he was asked by the Australian government as the CEO to preserve old Australian film and sound to transfer it to digital A small but enthousiast young group of professionals enjoyed the Dutch ambiance and were treated with a taste of Dutch ...Jans liqueur which was thankfully sponsored. The ample supply of free bitterballen where eagerly consumed and the visit from Sinterklaas en roet Piet was a total surprise. Sint and piet, wie kent ze niet, rewarded the guest with a free bag of kruidnootjes after they had their picture taken Details were exchanged and this lovely young group of professionals felt compelled by a little persuasion from Hans to continue with the borrel group with the promise that Oranjefeest Canberra inc will be donating a borrel and bitterballen every time they organise a function Watch this space as February was already dubbed to be the Carnaval Borrel Party! Again a big thanks to the Canberra club and staff for their great support

20.01.2022 Wow, thank you Facebook for reminding us what fun it was 5 years ago when all Dutch people worked together in making one big party to at least once a year come together in a large group all dressed in orange celebrating Kings day! It doesn’t matter what you call it Oranjefeest, kings Day, Dutch food and culture festival, or a Dutch Fest, the fact that Dutch people love to get dressed in orange makes them happy and it gives people all over the world a strong feeling of belong...ing and remembering of and yes perhaps even for some people a reason to forget where once their cradle stood. Yes it all began with a party of 600 to last year a large food fest of 6000 and let me remind you all organized by people that just like a party and yes whilst having fun raised money for charity! What a great idea, I hear everyone say, ha ha. It has come to pass that the same old folk need to hand over the baton to perhaps the second or third generation and thus if there is anyone out there that is community minded and like to give a few hours and a day to not only create a happy orange party but continues the Dutch Fest please don’t be backwards in coming forward, we’d love to hand over and install our experience as volunteers to those who like giving of their time will receive a thousand fold in return It all starts with an email [email protected] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHYOKMfnrfg See more

19.01.2022 Hey guys if you interested in learning Dutch

See more

15.01.2022 Who can forget that great Dutch Fest at the Albert hall what a great effort by all who served 6000 people! And raised must needed funds for charity. No need to make an expensive trip to the Netherlands to taste the great food and jovial atmosphere. Where the kids enjoyed all day long free entertainment where families could make use of a great Duch photo booth as a lasting memory of a great day out! 18 April is again planned to do it again but in a reduced format If you lik...e to volunteer at this happy festival please get in touch [email protected] See more

03.01.2022 Mooy, in Dutch, means Beautiful. Football Belongs - Netherlands, shows the beautiful influence of the Dutch on Australian football way before Hiddink. Its impact is deep - as the families of Socceroos Jackson Irvine and Aaron Mooy explain.
