(Please feel free to share) Landscape Construction Manager DVB Landscape Services is a well established landscape company based in the Outer Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne experiencing planned and projected growth.... We specilaise in medium to large domestic Landscape projects predominanatly in the Eastern Suburbs. Our work is mostly all word of mouth based solely on our referral network and the relationships we have made along the journey. We are now looking to take our business to the next level of professionalism and development with a strong vision of our future. We currently have a new role for an experienced Landscape Construction Manager to look after our operations throughout Melbourne. In short the successful candidate will be the link between Sales/Estimating and Service delivery. The landscape Construction Manager will be responsible for all aspects of operations including planning , budgeting , procurement , construction to hand over of new works. You will be in charge of several teams of Qualified Site supervisors , Leading hands , junior staff , contractors and will be the point of contact for staff , suppliers and clients. Your input will be required in estimating and assessing future and current works , assessing staffing levels and working out the how , why and when of numerous landscape projects of varying size and scope. A key area of involvment will be helping guide the company through its growth and dvelopmenet with an emphasis on procedures and systems development and also guiding and mentoring other members of staff. We provide a friendly , co-operative and stable workplace with low staff turnover in part due to the way we go about it and the work enviroment we maintain. The successful applicant will have excellenet communication skills , ability to think on there feet , and to forward plan and problem solve as required. A sound and extensive knowledge of Landscape Construction and Design methods is essential with a minimum 10 years experience in the Landscape industry.
