23.01.2022 Exciting news!!

17.01.2022 With the end of 2020 approaching (and what a year!!), we take this time to reflect on the year that has been....and I'm sure most are glad to see it finished. It's a time to reflect on the things we are thankful for, especially those important people in our lives. The DVE waterpolo community has many, many great people....all who volunteer their time either big or small making the club the great club it is. However, one person who volunteer's all their time, around the pool... and off, is coach Alberto. Alberto has been tremendous in his support, in particularly during the lockdown..... Alberto not only coordinates all the training (and trains athletes too!), communication, meetings, games, competitions and an endless list of things, but during lockdown ensured each and every dve player received support, training and mentoring during tough times. Alberto arranged and held online training sessions, catch up with the players and contacting them to see how they were going. It is important to mention that Alberto works full-time and is a dedicated husband, dad and friend. On behalf of the DVE family, I'd like to express an enormous gratitude to Alberto....words cannot express our gratefulness. A thank you to Rosie, Omar and Pablo for being so generous in the sacrifice of time when Alberto has been busy volunteering, and away from family time. Thank you Alberto....Merry Christmas See more
