22.01.2022 Have to share some beautiful work of one of my customers Sylvia Regeling . Sylvia had a section of concrete at her house that she did a makeover on using Fusion cathedral taupe , Fusion chocolate and her own blue with a Moroccan tile stencil . Took her a few days but she is so happy with the result . Didn’t she do a wonderful job . Amazing what a little paint and creativity can do .

20.01.2022 How nice are the new waterbased stains from Pureco . Wipe on and wipe off , no horrible smells . These are going to walk out the door I think .

20.01.2022 WORKSHOPS . You have all been waiting for them so here are the next two coming up . Sunday 7th of March EASYCAST RESIN So excited about this one . Learn the art of how to make moulds , appliqués and the tricks to apply them . Each participant will receive there own easycast kit and get to make an array of appliqués to use on a beautiful project in the class as well as take home . ... Saturday 20 th March BRING YOUR OWN PIECE . Learn the basics of prepping and painting your own piece to produce a professionally finished item . All product , tools will be provided . Piece must be of a size you can carry and finish on the day , small table , bedside ideal . All classes start from 9 am to approx 12 :00 with morning tea provided . Cost $100 per person . Bookings /small deposit are essential as numbers are limited and classes popular . Look forward to seeing you all on the day !

16.01.2022 NOW SOLD Due to the popularity of the larger hutch I sold recently I decided to paint a smaller one in the same colours . This lovely hutch is solid timber , with removable top for ease of transport . Good size for most homes . Dimensions being 1220 mm wide x 470mm deep x 1940 high. Local delivery available .

16.01.2022 Down Vintage Lane has been a bit quiet on the social media side of late but that’s because we have been very busy trialing and ordering exciting new brands now arrived in store . Three new lables now available and to be announced over the next few days !! The first of which is Pureco ( pronounced Pure eco ) Pureco is a beautiful new Australian made mineral paint (formally L’essential )with a built in sealer that has the most amazing finish . Many other brands have built in t...op coats but this is one of the few that really doesn’t need any extra finishing product . Great for those darker colours that we all often struggle to apply a clearcoat over .. this product you really don’t need to the sheen and feel is stunning . Introducing the neutrals , the first of the palette with stains and other colours arriving any day now . Available in 200ml and 600ml size pop in and see the finish for yourself . In the last photo I have painted a display cabinet in a custom mix of half carbon /half lead . This is now my new favorite shade that I know you will love just as much as I do . See more

07.01.2022 A lot of people admire the cabinets I have in store to display my paint lines in . I just thought I’d show two of my clients work who have bought there paint from Down vintage lane and gone home to duplicate the look themselves . The first hutch is by Chelsea Twidale . Chelsea has used our beautiful new Jolie paint in the colours Pure White and French Grey with tradco handles purchased from us as well . The next is Kerry Galea .. kerry is a new painter who went from paintin...g a plant stand to a hutch for a friend , she has sent me some great before and after photos . Goodbye horrid orange pine with the help of Fusion sterling and casement for an instant modern hamptons look . Havnt they both done a beautiful job. It’s amazing what a little paint can do . 04.01.2022 FUSION REFILLS HAVE ARRIVED !! This stock has been air freighted from Canada at huge expense to fill our depleated shelves in Australia . Midnight blue , Ash , Coal black , Matt tough coat , hemp oil and some SFO . ( I feel a bit like Sméagol out of Lord of the Rings unpacking these precious paint colours today ) Our next delivery is not until October and once again supply will be limited while freight continues to be an issue with covid 19 . So if you are after your favorite colours get in quick while stocks last .
