25.01.2022 Todays Job complete on a commercial site :) 4 coats to internal Walls in Taubmans Low Sheen Rum Orange for a very good client. With vibrant colours such as this, being in a neutral base they do require their own undercoat which is always Grey followed by 2 to 3 coats of the specified colour. I used Taubmans Endure which is a Premium product and gives you amazing results if you do the right preparation and correct application. I have attached the before photos, the photos after applying the Grey Undercoat and finishing coats in Rum Orange.

The before and after photos :) Repairing and repainting:... .Front external render with badly rusted Lintels and deep cracks (Colour Match) .Repairing and repainting from external eaves with heavy water damage . Repairing and touching up all internal ceilings . .Patching and touching up internal walls (Colour Match) .Repairing and repainting front entry door and frame/theatre door/external door. .Repairing and repainting wall to passage with water damage. .Touching up doors and frames and window sills. .Repainting all skirtings in Aqua enamel Gloss White. 22.01.2022 I have rectified many DIY jobs in the past and by other trades which on the surface looked okay but what followed was a disaster. With any job, if you are going to cut corners and use cheap products and not do the correct preparation, my suggestion is DONT touch it. It will end up costing you double to have it rectified not to mention can be a nightmare to rectify. This applies to all jobs.... Every job is easy if you cut corners. Nothing is rocket science if you are willing to learn and if you use the correct tools for the trade. Following the right steps to transform this steel awning which is heavily corroded and make it look as good as new with long lasting results. It is a time consuming project if done correctly. The heat definitely makes it more challenging and coastal sea breeze! Steps: .Pressure washed .Scraped and removed loose paint. .Sanded back .Sanded back areas with rust with course Grit sandpaper and wire brush. .Cleaned thoroughly .Applied Rust Converter - Indicated by the black in the photo. Allowing 24 hours for Rust Converter prior to priming. Next step will be application of a heavy duty Primer followed by 2 top coats of Kill rust Epoxy Gloss Enamel in white. 20.01.2022 Before and After. Bathroom restoration. Resurfaced these bathroom tiles. I do not recommend any DIY products from Bunnings. I recommend Premium Tinted Epoxy as the basecoat for Bathroom Tiles with Epoxy or UVthane (UV Resistant Polyurethane for outdoor). A clear Epoxy resin ontop. Preparation is cruicial when it comes to resurfacing tiles. I have seen ALLOT of DIY projects fail over the years because firstly lack of knowledge, incorrect preparation, not understanding the pro...ducts and finally using the incorrect products. I do not spray the tiles like many. I use traditional brush and roller. Being inside with clients living inside, the overspray from these products can not only be felt for days throughout the house but harmful to your health. Very different if house was empty with no clients inside. I use a concerte grinder to remove glazed surface. This is crucial otherwise your protective coatings will fail!

We completed all the Interior and exterior. 5 Interior colours including Epoxy Black for all window frames, entry doors, Lights, Mirror frame and external handrails. ... 3 external colours. The internal Popcorn or Stucco ceiling and external ceiling. All Internal Furniture in Semi - Gloss Black. All Internal doors and frames in Aqua Enamel Satin matching Interior wall colours. 20.01.2022 Before and after photos. It was like walking into a brand new home once we completed the transformation.

20.01.2022 Attention New Home Owners Whenever we are asked to paint the internal walls of a new home which involves 1 coat of Oil Pigment Sealer followed by two to three coats of Low Sheen Washable Paint depending on colour selection, the very first thing In order to not only protect yourselves but also the Client, is to take pH reading and Moisture readings in various rooms. White set plaster in WA can cause many problems for registered/Licenced Painters and Home owners. Issues ...can arise from: . Incorrect ratio of Plaster to Lime. . Incorrect moisture content in the render . Incorrect moisture content in the Plaster . Insufficient compression of the Plaster . Plaster being too thin . Excessive Lime in the Plaster Mix . Lack of cement in the render Many Builders do not allow render and white set to adequately dry. They close up the house too soon! There are so many issues that can arise because of this. I was quite satisfied with the readings. I showed the Clients and we were happy to proceed. Moisture levels were low and pH had an average reading of 9. The white set is also quite hard. Usually in new homes I have been able to scrape the surface with my finger nail quite easily. In this instance, the opposite. Today we applied the oil based sealer with no issues. We made sure to cover all tiles and dark carpets. Remove light switch covers and removed all Blinds and carefully labelled each one and neatly covered them. We will now allow at least 4 days to adequately dry. The clients have selected Lexicon full strength. Black feature wall in the study. Theatre room all Black Low Sheen including ceiling and internal door and frame and Dulux Suede Feature Wall in their Master bedroom :) #blueprinthomes

19.01.2022 Coating these Aluminium Window frames and doors in Satin Black for a new Clothing Boutique store in the City. Preparation is the Key for a long lasting finish. I see too many shortcuts and even though on the surface it may look good... in the long term you get serious issues due to incorrect preparation and in many instances application. Using #wattyl killrust which with my experience, has always given me proven results. Once I have given them a light sand and cleaned thoro...ughly, 1 coat of Etch Primer followed by 2 coats of Satin Enamel in Night Sky. 18.01.2022 In the City today coating an external and internal Artistic Murals for the new FA Concept Store. 2 Coats of Industrial Two Pack AntiGraffiti Clear Gloss. Working time is approximately 3 hours (tin life) so you need to be quick, clean and efficient in its application. Could not use my HVLP Spay due to the high risk of Over Spray. After Wednesday, will be posting videos and photos of the before and after. We painted all the Internal and External and what a Transformation.

17.01.2022 Work progress underway for a new clothing boutique store in the City near Huzzard Studios Had to watch the cars entering and exiting Wilson Carpark in the City so I had to work quickly and efficiently whilst limiting the amount of overspray. The final finish looks like brand new colorbond sheeting in black . When Spraying, need to maintain correct distance as too close and you will get heavy runs which can be disastrous and black is not very forgiving. My friend who is an amazing Artist will then create a Mural over the black!Stay tuned for the complete makeover both internal and external and the incredible Artwork that will follow.

17.01.2022 The before and after photos of another successful paint project by the team at C&M De Vito Painting. Very happy clients and being coastal, you need to do the right preparation and take extra care. The preparation of the steel work consisted of: .Pressure washing... .Sanding back and removing loose paint .Sanding back rust with coarse sand paper and wire brush. .Dusting off and cleaning all surface. .Treating rust with rust converter. .After 24 hours, priming surface with heavy duty Primer. .2 top coats of Epoxy Gloss Enamel. Did not use the spray gun as cars nearby and with the winds, there would be too much over spray so too risky. The front elevation render consisted of 5 coats of Taubmans Rum Orange in Low Sheen All Weather which is an amazing product. I had to ensure being a neutral base, to maximize full coverage I applied first a Grey Undercoat. Prior to painting the render and steel work, it was important to pressure wash the surface, especially being coastal. On this project I utilize both Premium Wattyl and Taubmans products with outstanding results. 16.01.2022 Using a very fine tip on my Wagner Spray Unit, transformed these doors, furniture and bed head in Aqua Enamel WA White. Aqua enamel is not only very durable with an exceptional finish but one advantage over oil based is non-yellowing. They do not turn yellow over time..especially in rooms with little exposure to natural light. I applied 4 coats with all the correct preparation. Very happy clients

16.01.2022 A Tour of the new FA Concept Store in West Perth after completing all the Interior and exterior Painting :) All that was left was the Signage. We applied 2 clear coats of Wattyl Poly U400 Anti Graffiti Clear (2 Pack) to the external Mural for Maximum protection. The steel we correctly prepared and applied 2coats of black semi- gloss prior to the application of the Mural. The same was done for the internal.... Very happy Clients and customers! A complete transformation! The windows, entry doors, Lights, and Mirror frame were all correctly prepared including an Etch Primer and coated with Satin Black Epoxy. They were a dull Aluminium. 16.01.2022 Every Project is different and challenging in its own way :) The Dulux colour consultant had advised the clients darker ceilings. I recommended them WA White and I am glad they took my advice. Another job complete in South Perth!

15.01.2022 The before and after photos. I was asked to repaint only a section of ceiling where there was serious water damage. Now looks as good as new and I am sure at a later date I will repaint the whole ceiling. There were some serious water stains and resulting flaking and peeling paint. There was also rust on the edge which I correctly treated and prepared prior to finishing coats. If you do not take the right steps, not only will the rust resurface but the water stains will return and I guarantee you will get paint peeling once again. Now definitely more pleasing to the eyes! :)

14.01.2022 These walls had severe water damage. The Issue was fixed and the walls were allowed to dry but to make sure, I tested them with my Moisture Meter and I was satisfied with the readings. Process: . I scraped back the loose paint. . Made sure surfaces dust free.... . Applied oil based binding sealer. . next day, Applied a base coat and once dry, applied a skim coat of Multi Purpose Compound. . Once dry, A light sand and patched any noticeable defects. . Applied 1 coat of Acrylic Primer, Sealer & Undercoat ready for clients to finish painting their walls. :)

14.01.2022 Hope everyone is staying safe during these crazy times and making the most of their weekend. Just at work in the City working on a job for good clients of myne. A new clothing boutique store with the most amazing European designs. Once I have completed the steel work in Semi Gloss Black with my Wagner PS26 Spray unit, a friend of ours who is an amazing Artist is going to be creative and do a Mural which then I will apply a protective clear coat to protect it from the elements... and Graffiti :) Prior to spraying, I first gave it a sand and then washed down with sugar soap. That process was done a few days ago. I have put in place safety cones as where I am working is the entrance and exit to Wilson City Car Park. 14.01.2022 Another Paint Project successfully completed today in South Perth. The before and after photos attached. This gorgeous 3 bedroom Loftus home which has been fully renovated. Very high ceilings and internal walls with 4 sky lights. The 2 sky lights in the Loftus you can see Perth City. The ceilings and walls all received 3 coats. 1 coat of Wattyl Ultra Premium Acrylic PSU (Primer/Sealer/Undercoat) to ceilings and walls making sure all surfaces are dust free. I rolled the first... coat to ceilings followed by two finish coats with our Airless Wagner Spray with a 517 spray Tip (Wide Fan Angle) and back rolling the spray paint which means spraying the ceiling and following up with a roller. The walls all brush an roller. Main colour throughout Low Sheen Dulux Raw Cotton half strength and bathroom and ensuite and Loftus Walls in Dulux Raw Cotton quarter strength in Low sheen. I like to always cover up and leave the site as I found it. The walls to kitchen and fireplace only received 1 coat of PSU as the Plasterer will now come and apply a decorative feature including two walls in bathroom and ensuite which will be water proofed prior to the application. Very happy clients. See more

14.01.2022 The Before and After Photos! Another Project completed today. Completely restored the internal of this gorgeous 3 bedroom Home. Very happy clients! ... All internal ceilings, walls, doors and frames, timber shelvings, Timber cappings, skirtings, air vent, brick work and front entry door and frame. Colour of walls: Balsa 1 Trimmings: Balsa 1 Front entry door/frame: Sikkens Mahogany The clients requested I use the Haymes Brand which is the only paint brand left that is 100% Australian owned. I used Matt Washable on the internal walls as the walls were in a very bad state. I used Low sheen on the bathroom and ensuite walls and ceilings and kitchen recess/brickwork. 2 days of preparation which included: . Washing down grease and grime with sugar soap . Plaster patching. Allot of damage to all walls. . Repairing large cracks to cornices and patching ceiling defects. . Repairing large cracks to skirtings. . Removing wallpaper . Sanding down all timber trimmings . Gapping windows . Treating rust . Treating stains from water damage and smoke stains. The clients wanted semi gloss on all timber trimmings. I used all Premium Haymes products. Also repaired a few skirtings which had fallen off. The house now looks fresh, more spacious and clean. There was also water damage and stains to a few walls and Ceilings which I had to correctly treat. I removed all handles and hardware which the clients are going to replace. #haymespaint Haymes Paint

11.01.2022 A new Project underway today. The Client hired the Boom Lift for me for this job. Repainted the top half in Taubmans Rum Orange in low sheen. Being a strong bright orange in neutral base, it required a grey undercoat to maximize coverage. Applied a total of 5 coats today including the Grey undercoat. The walls were pressure cleaned and steel work as part of correct preparation. Client very happy with the final product. Tomorrow I start on the steel work. 07.01.2022 Another recent job in Nedlands. Repaired these 3 large holes in the kitchen and bathroom ceilings and repainted. Also repainted the dining/family room, laundry and WC Ceilings. For the bathroom, we used Wattyl I.D Advanced in Low Sheen. Amazing results and the ceiling looks as good as new. Also repaired the Manhole cover and repainted. Very happy clients :) A Professional Job every time!

05.01.2022 Before and After Photos: Another job complete in North Fremantle :) Clients renovated the tiles in bathroom, Laundry and Toilet and benchtops in this gorgeous two storey home. Previous Painters decided not to seal the walls so after the Tiler removed the tape, stripped back allot of the paint. ... I was called to strip back most of the paint to the walls, apply an oil based sealer binder followed by 2 coats Wattyl I.D Advanced Low Sheen in WA White. Also repainted the internal doors and frames in Oil based High Gloss Enamel WA White. Also had to rectify peeling paint. Complete transformation and very happy clients.

05.01.2022 The major advantage of coating doors and furniture in a crisp white Wattyl Aqua Trim Gloss is that being water based, not only is it very durable but you do not get the yellowing effect which is so common with oil based paints. This means, they will remain white for a very long time and not yellow over time. :) The clients could not believe they were the same doors and furniture. Straight out of a show room!

05.01.2022 The before and after photos of one of the finished coated handrails today in the City with Epoxy Black in Gloss. For handrails, you need a finish coat which is very durable, washable and hardwearing. It is important to treat any rust and spot prime with a heavy duty primer.

We all have a story to tell and one day we may cross paths and they will remember me as that guy who offered them chocolate. 02.01.2022 The final product :) The before and after photos of this gorgeous and very spacious coastal home. Using only the best products. Here we used a Granosite texture specialist Coating. Steps involved:... . Light pressure wash (Low Psi) with detergent. . 1 coat GRANOPRIME S . 2 Coats GRANOIMPACT tinted to Doeskin. We Mortar filled all large gaps between external render and fascia. Correctly patched all defects and on many large cracks we used reinforced mesh. Allot of Preparation but in the end, this beautiful home now stands out in the area! :) Granosite has many advantages over normal paint but allot more difficult to apply. It is elastomeric. Allot more flexible than normal paint and Granoimpact due to its advanced properties and sheen level, is 100% washable and resistant to Mould and dirt. Being coastal and having never had any protective coatings, a product such as Granosite or Taubmans Armawall which is also an amazing specialist product is definitely recommended.
