19.01.2022 Please be advised that under the current conditions and restrictions a number of activities have been suspended. This currently includes all of our sporting ros...ters and similar activities pending new advice. Outside of School Hours Care (After School Care) is still operating unaltered, although additional precautionary measures have been implemented. At this stage Holiday programs are still scheduled, although destinations may vary which will be examined closer to the event. While Birthday bookings are still being taken, we are following the most recent advice concerning maximum attendances of 100 people.

16.01.2022 It's that time again, school holidays are upon us! During the holidays we will be open for drop-ins from 10am-5pm. We will be running structured games everyday for children 6+ from 12pm-1:30pm so make sure to bring a drink bottle. Children under 6 are welcome but require adult supervision at all times. No bookings required, come along and have some fun! Please ignore the 5th of October being a public holiday, we will be open, honest misunderstanding. 15.01.2022 The Southern Wolves Basketball Association are running a mini academy at the Derwent Valley PCYC for children up to the age of 14 and they cater for any ability level. Come along tonight for a FREE taster session that will include a mixture of skills and fun. 09.01.2022 2020 Tasmanian Training Awards. Congratulations Arielle Abrahams who has been announced as the 2020 winner of the School-Based Apprentice/Trainee of the Year at... this years Skills Tasmania Awards ceremony. Arielle has been with the Bridgewater PCYC since early 2017 and worked across a range of the programs and services delivered. During that time she has developed some fantastic relationships many members of our community and worked in a host schools across our region. We are all extremely proud of Arielle and wish her the best of luck as she is now Tasmania's entry into the National 2020 Training Awards. See more

04.01.2022 Congratulations Bridgewater Police & Community Youth Club trainee Arielle Abrahams who is a top-three finalist in Skills Tasmania's school-based Trainee of the ...Year awards. Arielle has been volunteering with PCYC for three years and undertook a certificate III in community services which she began when she was in Year 11 and finished in June this year. Since completing the certificate, she has been working full-time for PCYC. She has also just begun a work-based diploma in leadership and management. PCYC manager Justin Abrahams, who just happens to be Arielle's dad, is understandably very proud of his daughter and how she's developed in her role helping other young people in the community. Winning the 2020 'People's Choice Award' just shows the connection that Sammi has built with the community, and tonight has been a wonderful recognition for all her effort and dedication.
