23.01.2022 Ive been meaning to do a shout out to a group of excellent Australian tool makers for a while now. Over the last couple of years some of our blacksmiths have d...eveloped some high quality carving tools for a wide range of different carving styles. These tools shown here are by John of @fecforge ( I added the handles ) and they come super sharp, hold their edge, and take a punishment ( keep them honed as you go though, just a better way to work ). Ive been privileged to get to play a tiny part in Johns journey as he tested his angles etc and yup, I certainly recommend his work.
