20.01.2022 We are well into the Structural Working Drawings for this new home to be built in Sandy Bay. Not long now until the building commences!

20.01.2022 Our latest project to be completed is a demolition and rebuild of a home located on a stunning Eastern Shore site, with incredible views over the river to the city and mountain. Our design focuses on our core ideas of simple, timeless and elegant aesthetics which provide an understated outcome - This emphasises the uniqueness of the site and its panoramic views as the key design feature. Pavilions of timber, glass and stone provides a variety of textures and intricacies at di...ffering levels and facilitate privacy to the street, whilst opening up with greater transparency to the rear of the property. 18.01.2022 In the lead-up to the end of the year, we all have plenty of reflecting to do on 2020. One of our most popular projects this year was this multi award-winning home located in Stowport, not far from Burnie on the North-West Coast. We were blessed to work with fantastic clients and tasked to design their long-term family home - A design Concept which provided numerous living spaces and a strong connection to the outdoors. The material palette consisted of natural stone, hardwood and expansive use of glass.

17.01.2022 This major makeover and extensions, to an existing waterfront family home, has just received Planning Approval. We now look forward to developing the Structural Documentation, as well as the interior Fit-Out

14.01.2022 It’s been a pretty interesting 6 months since we photographed this completed project - A complete makeover, to what was an existing brick veneer located on a stunning waterfront site. Our challenge was to design extensions to allow for the needs of a growing family, whilst completely remodelling the existing home and giving it the appearance of a contemporary beach house. 13.01.2022 Another recent design concept presented just before Christmas. This home will be located on the point of an incredible waterfront site on the Tasman Peninsula. We are extremely grateful to have a number of exciting projects underway on the Tasman Peninsula, and all with water frontage. The proposed material palette here includes Natural stone, corten steel, hardwood and glass.

08.01.2022 We are always so grateful to be able to design projects for such amazing Tasmanian sites. Located directly on the sand dunes, on the South Arm Peninsula, the scope of this project was to redesign and rebuild a storm damaged shack. The key design concept focused on providing the client with a luxurious beach retreat, whilst referencing the old shack with a modern take on the original materials and colour palette.

06.01.2022 Some final tweaks to our Dunalley waterfront project this week before we get ready for the Planning Approval/DA stage.

06.01.2022 Our latest Design Concept is for a proposed Holiday Home set on an incredible waterfront location on the Tasman Peninsula. Located literally on the sand dunes, the design capitalises on the expansive views to the south, but is bathed in sun on the north due to it's narrow "double-sided" orientation. Service spaces provide a buffer to the weather, as well as form the basis of a courtyard for privacy from neighbouring properties.

05.01.2022 The Frederick Residences were designed by DW+A to be the pinnacle of waterfront living in Tasmania. As a result of the design we prepared, sales records were broken for the area, which is particularly notable as they were sold off the plan. A builder has now been selected and works will commence shortly on this exciting project.
