23.01.2022 Update 0930 The GV Highway has now reopened between Thornton and Eildon. SES crews and a small excavator removed much of the tree, however a much larger timber ...industry excavator was required to be floated in to remove the main trunk of the tree, it was a whopping 1.5m in diameter. Monday 23 November 0600 Hrs Goulburn Valley Hwy closed between Thornton and Eildon with very large tree down. Alexandra SES were called out at 4.15am this morning. Vic Roads are also attending the scene. The road remains closed. The tree was that old it actually had old telephone line insulators attached from days gone by.

22.01.2022 It's a gorgeous morning in Jerusalem Creek. Enjoy your day! M.Elliott

18.01.2022 We are serious about our Houseboat Regulations we want to make sure all houseboat owners at Lake Eildon can enjoy this iconic site. Last week, a houseboat ...owner was ordered to pay thousands of dollars for leaving an unlicensed boat on the water after failing to pay annual fees. The houseboat owner entered a guilty plea at Benalla Magistrates’ court. Read more here https://fal.cn/3bTaO If you think you’ve witnessed potential misconduct, phone us on 1800 013 357 to report it. We were heading to Kelly’s Bay when we realized our ski boat was no longer on the back of our houseboat we had know idea of how long it had been gone We back tracked quite a way and found someone had found it and tied it up safely... I was wondering how we were going to explain that to our insurance company ... A big thanks again to the amazing and honest guys who found our boat Legends See more

Our Port Phillip ...and Western Port ramp cameras are live - at www.boating.vic.gov.au and the Boating Vic app - to help boaters and paddlers determine which launching location they want to head to before making the trip. There’s also the option to enter the draw to win a Boating Vic prize pack, complete with a bunch of goodies to keep you safe on the water this summer.
