25.01.2022 Landscaping an existing dam for a client with the tools of the trade #catdozers #catdozer #pushysix #d6xe

21.01.2022 A shot last week, nice and shiny before its first job.

20.01.2022 Just starting to get in and do some dozer operating, as some may know I had wrist surgery last November and now starting to get it moving again. We have been fortunate in having two very good dozer operators keeping the ball rolling for us during this time. I recently hired a D6T thanks to Colemans Equipment to help out with the workload till our new D6XE arrives hopefully in March.

20.01.2022 The Earthmoving Equipment Magazine did an article on us for the up coming December issue a little while ago. Caterpillar and Westrac also wanted a testimonial video for the new D6XE, it came out a bit earlier than I thought. So the link follows to the video. https://youtu.be/RCog9tirIA0

18.01.2022 Not to many good dam sites come along like this one. The hole is 55m x 32m less the area that some topsoil was removed for the landholder. Approx 3000 cu meter wall with holding around 4500 cu meters of water. The D6XE achieved this in 24.5 hours that equates to 122 cubes per hour to rip, push and compact, I work the 6T on a bit over 100 cubes per hour. #catdozer # D6XE #pushysix

15.01.2022 I love my D6T but it just cannot do this !

13.01.2022 Dam wall finally starting to take shape. #d6xe #westrac #catdozer #pushysix

12.01.2022 The two 6T's have been busy doing some pasture cleaning with the stick rake and putting in a series of 2.5 to 4 meg dams the last few weeks. Robbie is doing some top soiling at the back of this 3 meg dam, any dams over 2 megs I like to use the two 6T's, side by side pushing as they carry around 40% more payload than two individual dozer bladefulls. As larger stock dams, particularly 3 megs and above, cost more per cubic metre to construct with a single machine due to longer pushes etc. Thats why the D6's are so versatile in the tablelands areas, using two D6's give the advantage of a large dozer such as carrying more payload over distance, its all about keeping the price per cubic metre of material to a mininum from point A to point B for our clients.

10.01.2022 Pretty awesome day, our replacement dozer arrived today, ordered last August and now we would like to introduce it to you. All new from the ground up the Electric Drive D6XE Caterpillar Next Gen Dozer. It will be working along side our D6T so looking forward to how they compare.

08.01.2022 Cutting some new trails for a new fence line, not sure how the posts will drive into the rock . #pushysix #catdozer #d6xe #westrac @ Crooked Corner

06.01.2022 Enlarging a stock dam. Trucks removed the mud and spent the rest of the afternoon topping up the dam wall height with clay.

05.01.2022 A little snippet of what’s to come. Some great blokes did some interviews today on the new D6XE. Glad Mick from WesTrac got in front of the camera at the end. I’ve had some difficult jobs but this may top the list. Bit camera shy. #d6xe #catdozer #westrac #westracau #pushysix #mickwebster
