Thank you to our patient customers who have been incredibly understanding during these busy school holidays A reminder to you all that The Dwelly Pub is a HERITAGE building which was built in 1911 (that's the kitchen, too!), and all those 109 years ago the tourism within the town was not what it is today. ... Our kitchen staff do an exceptional job at doing their best to serve you hearty, tasty food that you will ENJOY, and return for! We have been overwhelmed by the number of customers who have asked how long their meal is going to be, admitting they didn't believe our staff were serious when they were informed it would be up to an hour. We hope you understand that behind the scenes and our long wait times for food, we have an insane team of staff doing their absolute best to get the food out as quickly as is possible with the cooking equipment we can fit into our kitchen We hope you all enjoy your second week of school holidays! & we will see you soon!

Our ideal candidate for Kitchen Cook will:... # have experience working in a fast paced kitchen and work well under pressure, # have good communication skills and the ability to lead, # be available to work evenings and weekends, # have a hard working, can do attitude and will go the extra mile for the good of the team. Our ideal candidate for Kitchen Hand will: # be available to work evenings and weekends, # be physically able to meet the demands of a fast paced hospitality environment, # be friendly and customer service orientated, # experience not essential, but a willingness to learn is. [duties will include assisting the kitchen staff in the preparation of food, running meals to tables, and maintaining a tidy and clean kitchen environment] Both positions will be varied hours (likely to be 3, 4 or 5 days a week) on a casual basis. We introduced our weekend pub breakfast a few months ago with high hopes and expectations but unfortunately it hasn't proved to be a justifiable service for us to continue providing Thank you to everyone who visited us and tried to make our breakfast possible, your custom and support is invaluable to us! ... For the time being we are going to stick to what you guys LOVE - opening the doors at 10:30am with the beer pouring and our lunch and dinner menu offering the best range of burgers, pizzas, and classic pub meals around!!
