18.01.2022 I started this shoot intending to work within the realm of Harry Bensons style; playing with deep blacks and crisp whites, but it soon transformed into something more important. While finishing setup for what had been planned as an experimental high fashion shoot, a very different feeling took over the studio, and I decided to run with it. Feelings of loneliness and confusion come through really clearly in these portraits. The sense that life has turned upside-down. You thought you knew it all, but now youve lost your way and arent sure how youll get back; no idea where youll end up, or who youll be.
