21.01.2022 STATE CLOSURE UPDATE Today, 25th March, The Victorian Government has today announced that caravan and camping parks are to close at midnight tonight, except whe...re people live there permanently or as an interim abode where the primary residence is not available. The news is devastating to the industry and to many families and please know that VicParks have been working behind the scenes and will continue to do so and ensure that our members are receiving current advice, resources and support during this devastating pandemic. This new measure is designed to assist in the containment and spread of Covid19. The announcement means that parks must close to all tourists but may remain open to serve residents and site tenants as well as grey nomads who either do not have a permanent place of residence or are travelling and unable to get home. Parks may also open to workers whose primary residence is not available due to the distance between home and the work site.
