25.01.2022 Thank you Dymocks Books for having us at the Julia Gillard ‘Women in Leadership’ Literary Luncheon this week in Sydney. We were thrilled to raise over $3,000 from our raffle to support literacy programs for children in priority locations around Australia.
25.01.2022 Thanks to a donation by Ergon Energy in QLD, we have been able to deliver four Library Regeneration programs to Murgon State High School Gayndah State School Biggenden State School and Childers State School All those lovely new books reached 780 children, and we can see from these photos they’ve been very well received!
24.01.2022 As well as getting books to students via the school network during lockdown, our recent VIC COVID-19 appeal has enabled us to deliver $10,000 worth of books, puzzles & games to children supported by Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre and Kensington Neighbourhood House. Safe Steps is Victoria’s 24/7 family violence support service, and Kensington Neighbourhood House runs a number of literacy support programs for African-Australian children. We are loving the books and games and know the kids will be excited to have something that is theirs. - Safe Steps Thank you so much for making these lockdown programs possible with us

23.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who donated a Christmas Bauble in November and December at your local Dymocks Book Store. All proceeds go directly to providing children with new books in their local school or community group. Here are some of the wonderful baubles displayed in Dymocks Stores across Australia! Your support means we can connect more children with books in 2021.

18.01.2022 2021 is well and truly here and our team are so excited to deliver as many books as we can this year. To remind us of why we do what we do, here are some photos from Fitzroy Public School. Thanks to Dymocks Bookstore Richmond, the school received $2,100 worth of brand new books for their library. How clever is the 'Why we like reading' display?

07.01.2022 There is still a week to go until Christmas which means it's not too late to purchase a $2 or $5 Christmas bauble at your local Dymocks store! Every purchase will go directly towards providing brand new books to schools and community groups across Australia. Don't forget to write your name on your bauble and hang it up in store, just like this wonderful display from Dymocks North Lakes.
06.01.2022 Our Christmas Appeal is now live, and we wanted to share a small selection of quotes from our wonderful donors. A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. If you are able, please support this vital Appeal today so we can continue to run our Programs in 2021 and beyond. See link in Bio .
06.01.2022 As a result of our recent VIC COVID-19 appeal, we have been able to deliver programs to students at seven Melbourne schools during lockdown in the Dandenong, Ardeer and Braybrook areas. Each student received at least one book to keep, and a puzzle or game. The staff were very grateful about being given this opportunity for our students, especially while we're still dealing with lockdown and remote learning with our students. Dinjerra Primary School Thank you to everyone who helped us make this possible!
06.01.2022 Thank you to the NSW Taxi Council for providing the students at Moree East Public School with over $5,000 worth of brand new books for their school library. To say thank you, the students made their own taxi to keep in their classroom. How cute!
02.01.2022 As 2020 draws to a close, we’d like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past 12 months. This year has seen such hardship for so many, yet the level of support we have received from the community has been extraordinary. In 2020 we were able to provide brand new books to thousands of children in hundreds of locations around Australia; to children impacted by the bushfires, by the COVID-19 restrictions, to children who have parents in the criminal justice system, are in hospital, in foster care and in so many other important community groups. Thank you for your ongoing support - without you, we could not do what we do. With very best wishes for the New Year.
