22.01.2022 Saturday tech tip : sealed for life automatic transmissions, are an insult on peoples intelligence. Car manufacturers tell you that their transmission is sealed for life.. hoping like hell the thing makes it out of warranty, so than can slide a bill across the counter to you, when it dies at 100,000 kms for 6 to 10k with a grin on there face. NO I repeat NO transmission fluid is designed to last that long... Service your transmission every 60,000 kms max. And enjoy driving your car for many more years hassle free. Ps if your transmission starts to slip, before the warranty expires, pop into one of our awesome customers, and get the oil changed, and have them pop one of our transmission conditioners in it at the same time to fix any shifting issues.

22.01.2022 Winter is here, and its a great time to hit the snowfield? But if you drive a diesel, there are a few traps to be wary of. I/Diesel will Freeze at-2 degrees. ... 2/Diesel will Gel, at + 2 degrees. 3/If Diesel does Gel or Freeze, as soon as it reaches normal operating Temperature, it begins to grow algae in the fuel tank, from water absorption. Which will block your fuel filters, and slowly destroy your very expensive fuel injectors and fuel pump? Still, want to go to the snow? You do! Ok Well, here is a few tips and tricks, First of all on the way to the snow fill your fuel tank, at the closest servo to the snowfields, they will have a winterised diesel blend, now dont skimp, fill the TANK to the Brim, the more fuel in the tank, the harder it is to freeze. For extra insurance, check if the servo sells any Diesel Anti Freeze additives, these things can be Hit & Miss, but it just might just buy you an extra 1-2 degrees, which could be the difference, between driving off the mountain or getting towed off. Lastly, if your car runs a bit rough after being on the mountain, there is still a chance you copped a dose of algae from the cold weather! If so pop into one our expert mechanics and grab a bottle of either our Common Rail conditioner or Common rail euro, and it will kill off the Alage in a few days, and make your car run like new again.

Today we officially release our new synthetic based engine system cleaner (replacement for our engine flush) which is now more effective, safer, and environmentally friendlier. Our chemicals are sourced from # Dandenong, # Western Australia, # Sydney, our cartons are made in # Keysborough, our bottles are made in # Moorabbin, our caps come from # Sydney, are labels are made in # Dandenong, and everything, is blended in Keysborough, and filled in # Box Hill. So I guess we are pretty well one of the only automotive chemical suppliers left in good ol...d Oz, that keeps jobs in OZ, and doesnt send its profits to Germany or the USA, to avoid paying our fair share of taxes. 13.01.2022 Picking the wrong fuel pump can cause your car some running issues, but picking up the AD blue pump, will block your injectors, clog your Cat, and kill your oxy sensors. We can help you clean the cat with our DPF/CAT cleaner, but sadly you will need new oxy sensors and possibly new injectors.

07.01.2022 Just a quick update, Engine Flush and Anti Wear are fully compatible with CK-4 oils, apologies for not highlighting this earlier. For those asking about FA-4 we are currently testing both products for compatibility, and it should be available by April or May 2020, but we will keep every updated as testing continues

06.01.2022 Hi everybody, we have steered clear of the coronavirus discussions the last few weeks, we know how bad it is and how hard it is making peoples lives, we also under stand that mechanics now have to disinfect every vehicles, door handle, gear knob, steering wheel, and internal door closure. Most mechanics assume the best way to do this is with hand sanitiser, yes it is effective, but it has one side effect. What every it is applied to that is not actual skin, becomes discolour...ed Which of course in these uncertain times is a small price to pay. But we believe we have alternative that we are currently working on, and that is a super strong spray disinfectant, that can be sprayed on door handles, as well as applied with a cloth or rag to steering wheels, gear sticks etc. We will keep you posted on availability, but we are hoping and working over time, to have it available for this Friday or the following Monday. Between now and then stay safe

The Japanese are going to give it a damn good nudge. 100% Synthetic "Fuel economy" engine oil specially designed for Hybrid Electric Vehicles (H.E.V) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (P.H.E.V) fitted with recent gasoline engines, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, direct or indirect injection, designed to use SAE 0W-8 oil with very low friction and very low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity ( 1.7 mPa.s). Suitable ...also for battery electric vehicles (B.E.V) fitted with thermal gasoline engine used as Range Extender. Suitable for modern gasoline engines requiring a viscosity grade SAE 0W-8 lubricant or a Fuel Economy lubricant in viscosity grade 8. Compatible with catalytic converters. This type of oil may be unsuitable for use in some engines. Just in case you missed it... they are referring to 0w-8 grade oil, as per usual we will be pulling our hair out trying to modify our engine flush to suit

I did the only thing I could; I told him in future to buy Australian, product designed to handle our low-quality fuel.
