25.01.2022 First day out of lockdown. Arrived at Culgoa. Quite windy but mellowed nicely at end of the day. Rohan and Rachel had two great flights in the tandem.

22.01.2022 Day 2 of wingtips/XC tour weekend - well done Andrew flying to just short of Ouyen in trying conditions. Also to Amber for her first thermal soaring cross country flight.

22.01.2022 Another early start this morning. We achieved 18 high tows to around 1500 feet altitude. Some good thermals kicking off before we stopped for lunch break.

21.01.2022 Weekend wingtips / XC tour based at Culgoa this long weekend. Today’s task straight line to Chinkapook, approx 80km.

20.01.2022 Landing approach into Corryong goal yesterday. Std airport style downwind, base & final.



20.01.2022 Conditions mellowed enough this evening we were able to get high tows done. Even bigger smiles all ‘round. Well done guys.

15.01.2022 Corryong Cup day 4

14.01.2022 We just completed another 4-day XC Tour, all five participants enjoyed four days of flying, tutorials with hand outs and Sandra’s fabulous cooking. Our next XC Tour is towing, base will be Culgoa Pub 6th to 9th March inclusive. Booking essential.

14.01.2022 Dawn start in the tow paddock this morning. Lovely conditions early enjoyed by students Tony, Bernard & Alex. Smiles all round after a couple of flights each. Wind picked up by 8.30am putting an end to our mornings activities

06.01.2022 A challenging day. Lots of waiting for conditions to settle enough for students. Randal towed earlier in the afternoon getting to 9,000ft. Eventually landing back at Culgoa. 7pm and conditions mellowed. Well done to Macey, Rachel, Kyron, Ioannis and Beau on all achieving their first high tows.

05.01.2022 Corryong Cup run & won. Strong conditions on last day. 7 pilots made goal. It was great to see a number of our past students competing. ... Congratulations to all pilots on your achievements during the comp. A shout out to the organisers Tracey, Andy, Phil & Hughbert who did a fantastic job not only during the comp but in the lead-up as well. Also to Toby, Randal, Wes & Rohan for volunteering their services throughout the comp.

04.01.2022 All pilots launched successfully. Now to see how far they go. Goal has been set for Locksley.

03.01.2022 Well done Boris who a bit further than Chinkapook landing at Manangatang. Whilst Andrew, Mark & Peter all landed near Berriwillock. Great towing conditions after the recent 43mm of rain in the area.

01.01.2022 Corryong Cup days 5 & 6 cancelled due to strong wind. Last day today.

01.01.2022 Fantastic effort today by our students. Up at 5am ready for dawn flights. Smooth conditions in the morning. All had prone flights today and average flight times of 10 minutes. Afternoon saw a westerly come through with smooth conditions and more tows about 8 each for the day. Tomorrow will see them launching from a hill for a change of pace. Ended the day with happy birthday to Jay.
