09.01.2022 Australian Physiotherapy Association VIC MEMBERS Updated advice effective from midnight 6 December: The wearing of masks by allied health professionals remains a requirement as health professionals (and their employees within a healthcare practice) are bound by additional industry obligations for PPE use. Regarding the wearing of masks by patients, the Premier’s statement advises that ‘while masks are no longer mandated in most circumstances masks continue to be recommend...ed indoors or outdoors when distancing can’t be maintained.' The COVID-safe Summer How we live in Victoria document also states that masks ‘must be carried at all times’. In this context, health professionals may wish to ask patients/clients to wear masks in waiting areas. With this new advice, we ask that you have your mask with you when you arrive at our clinic. You will be told if need to wear it inside our building. This will be required if we have immuno-suppressed patients attending around that time. Thanks for your understanding

Not quite as decorative in its Covid-safe set up but still good A bit of housekeeping folks: MASKS- we don’t have to wear them now in our sessions but I ask you to bring one with you because if I have an immuno-suppressed individual in the building, I think it would be best that we wear them.
