13.01.2022 Queensland Government Urgent COVID-19 update: In response to recent positive COVID-19 cases, a range of measures have been put in place as of 22 August 2020. Eight Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the greater Brisbane areas have been listed as restricted areas. Restrictions apply.... Changes for residents in all other parts of Queensland: Gatherings in private homes and public spaces will be restricted to a maximum of 30 people. These limited do not apply to businesses operating under a COVID Safe plan.

01.01.2022 At this stage we only have 15 people registered for the Douglas Dash - and one volunteer. All good and the event will go ahead on Saturday morning. There are a couple of changes: 1. We will set off at 7.00am. 2. We will start and finish at Rex Smeal Park. 3. Distance (including going up to the lookout on the way out) is just under 4km. Tough little run, so it will feel longer than that, believe me!... Some good news: We have a double pass to give away to a lucky competitor - entry into the Wildlife Habitat! They are having their 're-opening' on the weekend, and anyone else keen to go can get in for only $30/adult or $15/child. https://www.wildlifehabitat.com.au/
