21.01.2022 Dear Mum, I see you. I see everything you do for me. The transporting to and from classes, the fees that go along with those classes, the never ending purchase ...of bobby pins, hair nets, lipstick, ballet stockings, shoes for each genre, the extra rehearsals and the information overload, the makeup applications, the copious volumes of hair spray, the eyelash, mascara and eyeliner ‘hold still’ frustrations, the lugging around of costumes to competitions, the long days spent backstage, the downloading of music to practice, the long drives to competitions, the support, the exhaustion, the delight in your eyes when I’m on stage. I see you and I couldn’t do what I love to do without you. Thank you for the gift of dance.
