23.01.2022 SEVEN weeks have gone by in this 'new normal' of working from home, virtual meetings and of course market change. We are fortunate to currently be in a situation where we have not made any redundancies, step downs or reduction in hours, but of course there have been challenges along the way and we are still learning and adjusting. Amongst the challenges faced, it has given us a time to reflect on where we see the business going, has allowed us to adapt and use resilience skil...ls we perhaps never thought we had, learn how to communicate in ways we never had to before, absorb knowledge on trends that have been around during pandemics before, teaching us what we need to do to ensure we stay afloat and retain staff if this happens again, but also now. Along the way it has also made us evaluate what is important to us, reminded us how fantastic our team are and ways in which we can operate, beyond this. We wonder if moving to a more flexible/home based set up will be a new norm? Please see a few things we have introduced which have really helped boost morale and keep the team connected during this new normal'. Currently, there is no coordinated approach in Australia across different jurisdictions to address and decrease emissions from the healthcare sector. The proposed target of reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2040 and an interim target of 80% reduction by 2030 aims to combat this issue.... 06.01.2022 We don't know when we will be returning to the office, but we are making sure we are prepared to do so. Coming into an empty office was a strange experience - the fridge was more horrifying than strange! We are working on the below over the coming weeks so when the time comes, we are fully prepared to keep the team safe and healthy upon returning;... - We have ordered cleaning products including disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer & antibacterial hand wash in bulk. Catch.com.au have plenty of stock! - We are liaising with the building manager who has advised what the owner of the building and her team are doing to ensure the whole building is safe, including cleanliness of lifts and communal areas. - We have attached flyers up and around the office. The team are fully aware of what needs to be done, however it is good to stay reminded. - We are meeting with our cleaner to work out a plan of action. - We are formulating policies outlining protocols for returning to work & what is expected. We are working together to come up with the best action plan moving forward.
