24.01.2022 So now that the party is all over and the birthday boy has gotten to enjoy his cake, I can now show it all to you. This weekend we celebrated along with great friends a young mans 18th Birthday. Top tier a white mud with lemon white choc ganache, bottom tier GF mud cake let's just say there ain't very much left overs .

24.01.2022 A little something different to my usual I made a No bake strawberry mousse cheesecake topper with fresh whipped cream and strawberries for hubby’s birthday on the weekend. It was shared amongst family and friends in the park who found it rather delicious pretty good feedback for my first attempt I reckon.

22.01.2022 Hi ladies and gents. Now that the weekend is over I can share with you all the story of Fridays cake that caused me so much stress. Usually I prepare my decorations in advance but due to being super busy with other things I had to fit it all into 1 day this is what causes problems (just poor planning) with 1hr 30min till I had to leave I didn’t like the logo being just blue. It just wasn’t popping, didn’t look right. I knew it had to be Gold and with a quick deliberatio...n with hubby and BF they agreed so I got straight into it. I firstly tried painting the blue gold, nah so wrong wasn’t going to work in a fit. So I cut another logo out in white didn’t have time to let it dry had to get right into getting it painted. Then I remembered I could airbrush it my airbrush wouldn’t work and my handy man wasn’t around and I was down to 40min left. Panicked started painting panicked more screamed a little cause I wanted this cake to be perfect and was running out of time I had no other choice but to track my handy man husband down and get him to duck home to fix it I love him so much he fixed it with 30mins to go we got it airbrushed but had to push it to the very last minute before we could touch it and place on the top. Here we go again heart beating a million miles a minute it was too soft wanted to rip and tear and crack. With was touch and go whilst getting it on but we finally got it. A huge sigh of relief but totally worth it as it truly finished it off. Wasn’t perfect but still looked amazing. Well that’s the end of the story. I hope you enjoyed . I received a few photos from the day of these beautiful CWA ladies cutting the cake at the Koumala CWA 90 Anniversary celebrations yesterday. I hope all that attended had a lovely afternoon See more

20.01.2022 Raspberry French Macaroons

19.01.2022 So I had to take some time off work for this one. Baked all afternoon and made decorations. Woke up this morning to find that nothing had dried over night so I tried the baked method which worked a treat. I also tried out my new Sweet Stamps looked a little dodge for my first attempt, loving the effect it creates. Happy 9th Birthday to our little miss Laila, hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy sharing your cake with a surprise visit from your friends tonight

18.01.2022 So this happened this week. Our oldest child Miss Serenity graduated Yr6 and is off to high school in 2019. I had the honour of making the cake for the graduation night. My last one for the year

15.01.2022 So on Thursday we celebrated Hayden’s 7th birthday in style with cake I made him a Black Forest Gateau Cake with a twist strawberry jam instead of cherries ... yum yum

15.01.2022 So at the beginning of the month I had the honour of making my mum and dads 40th wedding anniversary cake. I got to design and create such a beautiful cake that I was so proud of and even more importantly was enjoyed by all. This 3 tier cake consisted of a 10x5 1/2 GF SF Fruit cake, 8x6 GF Red Velvet and a 6x6 Chocolate Mud

14.01.2022 So with much delight I was able to surprise our cousin Amanda for her 40th birthday with this gorgeous white chocolate mud cake with lemon white choc ganache. The 3 blue roses and rosebuds where all handmade finished off with silver leaves and edible silver leaf and artificial filler flowers. This 8" x 6" cake traveled from Ilbilbie all the way to Mission Beach with a few extra detours along the ways and with much delight survived the trip (approx. 740ks)

13.01.2022 Sorry friends things have been a bit quiet on the cake front. I've been busy running around taking our daughter to all her soccer games & training and her school and district sports days. Now the weather has also cooled down the Grey Nomads have been blessing us with their presence here at the park and have been keeping us on our toes. I did manage to get a cake done for hubby's birthday just gone which was a rather large scrumptious violet crumble cheesecake

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone. I’ve been thinking for quite awhile now and Ive decided I’m going to take a 12month break. So as of today I will no longer be taking any outside orders. I have a lot of personal things going on at the moment that require my attention. I will still be making cakes for my family and for events at the park so I won’t be completely gone. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

01.01.2022 Sorry peeps for the delay. Currently away on family holiday. Last Thursday we celebrated our daughter Laila's birthday her chosen theme for her giant 3D cupcake was mermaids. As I have another cake as well to complete I kept hers a little more simple
