21.01.2022 Oh, loves...this year it is a hard one It seems like a crazy question. Of course a lot of us are not okay. This year is completely out of the box. We have to understand that our poor little brains are constantly trying to make sense of things that just dont make sense. Its been an unbelievably overwhelming year. But please know you are never alone; there will always be someone who will help you, love you, be kind to you and care about you. ... Reach out, admit that you are struggling; it is totally ok to not be ok. I am slowly learning that and it can be sweet relief. I really hope you are ok today. 19.01.2022 I love it when I see my babies out in the wild I was in a queue the other day and the lady in front of me had a pair of Little Birdie Hoops on. I said love your earrings! and she said that they were her favourites and that she had them in three colours and wore them every day. ... I told her that I wished I could hug her because I made them and she had made my day. Lots of laughing and lovely words and stopping ourselves from clutching hands ensued! That is the reason - through more than a decade of ups and downs and self doubt - I do what I do Sometimes its feels trivial in these times to make baubles...but making people happy; I will take that any day xxx k

But ...it grew into a supportive global community that was a light-hearted respite from the uncertainty many of us were experiencing, and it continues in this today. Why the turkey? 05.01.2022 Hello lovelies! Because this year was a little bit wild and wacky (UNDERSTATEMENT) I have come to the conclusion that we are just not going to get to any markets this festive season. I wish we could see your beautiful faces but with building a house and opening @smallworksgallery , and trying to stay afloat in general as a business and a family, we are going to try something a little different this year. You are invited to a huge @eachtoown Studio Sale at our gorgeous new ba...by @smallworksgallery on the 4th, 5th and 6th of December in our home town of Murwillumbah, Northern NSW. Now, I know that is not great news if you live far away. But it is what we can manage this year and now that the borders are open-ish it will be nice to finally see some of your lovely faces again. There will be things left and they will go online for all you people in far off places. But for those of you that can, come see us! Murwillumbah is 2 hours from Brisbane, 1 hour from the Gold Coast and 45mins from Byron Bay and it really is a fab town visit and stay. We have incredible food, drink, art and op shopping all over the place here and some of the best beaches you will ever sink your toes into. So maybe you could get some mates together and road trip the weekend away! We will have a whole gallery full of ETO bargains starting at $5 and this is the one sale where we have mined a very rich seam of old and new pieces...and many things that you have never seen before - even our dyed in the wool Ownies will be surprised! It will also be the first time to view our new Wildwood Fields range and grab some Posie Keepohs for the plant lovers in your life. But for now, I am letting you know so that if you have the stirrings of a road trip/weekend away you might want to come to our beautiful town and knock over all your Xmas shopping in one place @etotheshop is right next door and full of gorgeous things too.
